Q: On the order page, the picture of the peanut butter shows "just stir and enjoy" the box to the right side says "NO need to stir, ready right out of the jar." Which IS it?? Don't want the no-stir .

  • A: Thought I would try this brand as I have always been a Jif guy...got tired of ALL the additives...Smuckers to me is pretty good and after purchasing I now turn it upside down...roll it around a bit which seems to mix the oil much more... than when I open the jar it is easier to mix...yes it is a bit grainy but hey it's made with peanuts. I am now staying with Smuckers all Natural...OldManDave

  • A: This Peanut Butter NEEDS to be stirred when you first open the jar as the oil separates to the top of the peanut butter. Once it is stirred into the peanut butter it doesn't separate back out. We don't refrigerate it in our house and have never had a problem over the years of using it. A great "simple" peanut butter without any additional ingredients than Peanuts and Salt!

  • A: This natural peanut butter needs to be stirred. Sometimes it needs stirred a bit again. I store it upside down before opening it for the first time. That moves some of the oil to the original bottom so the whole thing is a bit easier to stir.

While we always suggest speaking to your vet, we can confirm our peanut butter does not contain Xylitol, which sometimes is used in other brands and is harmful for dogs to consume. Additionally, you do not need to keep this product refrigerated once opened. Hope this info helps!

    Perfect spread for a sandwich!

Since it is natural, you do need to stir to mix the peanut oils back in. This was an easy substitute for our usual peanut butter as my kids loved it. And I can feel good serving my kids a healthier product without the typical additives found in other peanut butters.

    Really good waffle topper

The stirring did feel like a wrist work out, but it is not bad. It smells really good. The aftertaste tastes like peanut butter and it does bother me.

    Messy but tasty

Even when mixing it together it remains very liquified which made it difficult to spread cleanly. But it certainly tastes great and truly tastes like what it is - natural peanut butter. It does require a bit of mixing before use but after mixed is a nice creamy consistency that spreads easily on bread and crackers. The design of the jar is clean line and no frills which I think aligns with the product perfectly. If you are looking for a peanut butter without all of the sugar and extra ingredients this is it. By the way, the aroma after removing the inner seal is so enticing.

    Prefer smooth over the little bits of nut

It also had bits of peanuts in it and I prefer a non-crunchy peanut butter. The taste was fine but I could do with out the peanut bits.

It only has 2 ingredients-peanuts and salt. You don’t get any simpler than that. It has an intense, freshly roasted flavor that is unmatched in my opinion. I love it on an English muffin with homemade blackberry jelly. It is a natural peanut butter so it does have to be stirred prior to use, but it’s not as oily as many natural butters I’ve tried. It is not completely smooth, but I like the texture. It’s kind of a cross between creamy and chunky peanut butter

I originally thought I'd dislike the consistency due to the crushed up peanuts, but I ended up enjoying it. We liked it on peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, crackers, apple slices, and on an English muffin. It has a loose oil on the top but it mixes in with ease. It has great flavor with the right amount of saltiness. It's a good value and quality without a ridiculous price tag. It wasn't any more of less messy than any other peanut butter we own. I will be switching to this brand in the future. Highly recommend giving it a try.
