I ate Jif peanut butter as a kid and continue to do so as an adult. It is the best tasting and has the best consistency of any peanut butter on the market. I tried the Natural for the first time last month and it is my new favorite. It spreads easily whether on gluten free bread, pretzels, veggies or fruit.
I LOVE this Peanut butter! Wherever I'm whipping up something tasty in the kitchen, making a sandwich with my homemade jam, or eating a spoonful of it out of the jar (my guilty pleasure); I LOVE IT! My entire family has eaten JIF since childhood; 50+ years and going strong!
I love Jif Natural Creamy and have been using it for years. I recently bought two containers and they are both Peanut Butter soup. I understand that Natural should have some separation and may need to be stirred, but the whole container is liquid peanut butter. I tried stirring them, but it does not matter. I can tip the container over and pour the peanut butter onto the bread. I hope this is a bad batch, otherwise, I will not be buying this peanut butter again.
I posted a review last night about the change to the only “low sodium” version of the natural jif being available now & how I have a reaction to it due to my sulfate/sulfite allergy and previously did not until the change. This has caused me to stop being able to eat jif completely. I addressed that sulfites don’t have to be listed on ingredient lists but that there is something different about these two versions that isn’t listed. I also wondered if there would possibly been a change in the molasses suppler and that might be the cause. But this was all “moderated” and not allowed to post. I am confused. I also addressed that I would love to talk with someone about this but I didn’t hear from anyone Except the comment being refused to be posted. This is now more frustrating than the recipe change as I didn’t say anything inappropriate or even opinion based. Only asking for clarification & help with the change. Please advise. Thanks!
