Jack's Original Thin Crust Pepperoni Frozen Pizza - 14.3oz

Is this for real? It feels like a joke. My family prefers the taste of Jack's so we've been weekly customers, but no more after this debacle. I can't believe I have to say this, but I expect a crust to be included in a frozen pizza. I opened one tonight that had no crust. It was some sauce and cheese and a few pepperoni on a piece of cardboard, literally. Say, maybe this is their new "gluten-free" offering. Jack's, this points to quality control issues. Target, you're raising the price again on these pizzas to $4.19 from the longstanding price per pizza of $3.99. The latest price is approximately 30 cents an ounce. Compare to Red Baron, a heavier pizza, for 24 cents an ounce (and probably a crust included). Between the price jumps for sub-par products from Target, and the case of the missing crust, I've made a decision. From now on, I'll be purchasing Red Baron or making our own for a fraction of the cost weekly.

I don't even know where to start with this level of disappointment. Honestly, I'm just flat-out furious about this pizza. It was a complete disaster from start to finish, and I feel totally ripped off. First, let's talk about the toppings—or the shocking lack thereof. I actually counted. There were exactly twelve thin slices of pepperoni scattered across the entire surface. Twelve! That is absolutely ridiculous and borders on false advertising. I buy a pepperoni pizza because I want pepperoni, not a few lonely, scattered pink discs trying to hide the fact that the company clearly skimped on the single most important ingredient. Then there's the structure. I followed the cooking instructions precisely, using 425 degrees for the exact eleven minutes specified on the box, and what I got back was a piece of inedible concrete. The crust was hard as a rock and had absolutely no flavor whatsoever. It was like eating a stale, flavorless plank. Save your money. This is nothing more than the most generic cardboard pizza you find in the deep-discount aisle, dressed up to look fancy. It is truly shameful how disappointing this product is. I sincerely wish I could get my money back for this complete waste of time and money.

This pizza is such a convenient meal for busy nights. The thin crust bakes up nice and crispy, and the pepperoni has a good flavor. It’s budget-friendly, but still tastes great — perfect to keep in the freezer for a quick dinner or snack.

I might not buy them at full price, but on sale I definitely stock up. They cook up nice and fast, it's super easy to flavor them up a bit if needed, just add some Italian seasoning and a bit of extra cheese.

Jacks is our go to pizza. Love to add our additional toppings to make it fresh! Great taste and definitely my kids favorite.

We decided to try Jack's Thin Crust sausage and pepperoni pizza tonight for the first and last time. Hands down the worst frozen pizza 🍕 we have ever tried! The sauce has no flavor. I had to put good seasons salad seasoning on it to get some flavor.the crust is similar to stale crackers and cardboard. Definitely never again.The sausage has little flavor along with the dry pepperoni.

The amount of sauce and cheese has been slowly reduced for years now, but the flavor is still great and the price is low, so we have been keeping these on hand. Lately, every other pizza is 1/2 completely bare crust - like the machine dispensing sauce and cheese is off, which is super annoying, because you can’t tell until you take it out of the wrapper, can’t eat half of it, and it feels like it would be both super weird and a hassle to try and return it, so it feels like a huge gamble when you buy them. I honestly wish they would just increase the price and maintain the original level of toppings, because it really is the best frozen pizza, when it’s good.

Jack is supreme. There is no better pizza on the market. Consistent, truly perfect.

This pizza is really good for a store-bought frozen pizza. Don't know why people are complaining about the crust being too thin -- its a thin crust pizza, says so on the box!! The sauce is really tasty, and you can always add more cheese if you want. Will definitely buy again for a quick snack or meal. For under $5, its a good deal. Obviously you can get better at a good pizzeria, but this is pretty good for what it is.

As the title says, grilling the pizza (gas grill, 400 degrees for the recommended time) is really good. It adds a new depth of flavor. It's good to be able to have a frozen pizza grilled as opposed to heat the house in the middle of summer.
