A: Litehouse Freeze Dried Parsley is shelf stable. It will have longer shelf life if refrigerated after opening but does not have to be refridgerated.

There was also a good variety at my local grocery store. I tried the Parsley and Oregano flavors. It was great to not have to chop fresh herbs. And I always have waste with fresh. Litehouse brand is now my new go to when I need herbs.

I was surprised to see that unlike other dried herbs, Litehouse is a one-to-one ratio. The color and aroma portrayed a fresher product than traditional dried herbs. I loved not having to have fresh herbs on hand but get the same outcome.

It can be stored at room temperature, and it's super convenient. I use it for soup, fried rice, sauteing, pretty much anything. I would love to try it if they have a sesame option.

It tasted fresh, not quite as much flavor as fresh parsley but for dried herbs it was tasty! I used it on egg salad and also on baked mushrooms, my family and I loved it. I really wanted to try the dill but my store didn't carry it. It's a bit pricey, so would buy when on sale.

So this is an amazing option to have something shelf stable but still be able to introduce those herbs into your foods!! I would not use this for anything that requires the softness of fresh herbs since obviously these are dehydrated, so these are honestly prefect for stews, sauces or even salad toppers! Love the simplicity, the packaging is glass which is AMAZING for recycling, and the price was fair, would 10000% buy again!! You open it and you immediately get the herb aroma, its not as potent as fresh just because its dried but upon taste its the same
