MorningStar Farms Veggie Frozen Breakfast Plant Based Sausage Patties Original - 8oz/6ct

Changes to the recipe have produced a mushy, cooked seaweed like texture. The edges cook thoroughly but the center chews and tastes raw, even when hot. The photo is how the sausages USE to look when cooked. None of the food is the same. I used to serve this to meat eaters all the time. Now I struggle to even suggest it, let alone recommend it.

These used to be delicious, but I agree that the recent change made them nearly inedible. I hope they bring back the vegetarian ones.

Can you bring the original back for vegetarians that are good with egg whites? This is a staple that was lost to the "plant based" wars, but you can see where that took Beyond, etc.

These used to be the best sausage patty substitute and then you guys changed the product completely , trash now .

I’ve been a loyal customer of MorningStar Farms sausage patties for over 20 years. The original vegetarian patties were a staple in my home, and I truly appreciated their flavor and texture. Since the recipe change to the vegan version, I’ve found the taste and texture noticeably different. The new patties seem softer and somewhat mushy compared to the firmer, heartier texture the original had, and the flavor profile doesn’t work as well for me. I completely understand the decision to expand into vegan options, and I appreciate that many customers may prefer the updated recipe. However, I would genuinely love to see the return of the original vegetarian sausage patties alongside the vegan version. Many long-time customers might welcome the opportunity to choose between the two—similar to how some brands have successfully reintroduced classic versions of popular products. Thank you for considering feedback from a long-time fan. I hope you’ll consider bringing back the original recipe in the future.

I'd been a fan of MS breakfast patties for years, until 2021. The new recipe is terrible. The texture and taste is nothing like before. I've stopped buying them. BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL BREAKFAST PATTIES.

I have loved these throughout my childhood. I can no longer tolerate them now, as I discovered have CELIAC. Please find a way to make something comparable without gluten! I can’t be the only person asking for this.

Lots of people talking about a new recipe. I've eaten these off and on in a couple of years.. but been buying them regularly for the last couple of months. They are delicious. Great seasoning great flavor. I have no issues with the texture. For me they're usually chopped up in my scrambled eggs.

New recipe is still terrible. Please bring back the original recipe. We are waiting. Make both if you must. But please for the love of god bring back the original recipe. Read the reviews. Make your customers happy. Make more money. Bring them back!

These used to be amazing. My favorite breakfast food, in fact, until a couple of months ago. At first, I thought I got a defective batch. Now, it’s clear that the recipe changed, and not for the better. Flavorless, oval “hockey pucks,” is an apt description. Disgusting!

These are tasty, but we prefer the vege bacon strips that they've been out of for weeks. The vegebacon just goes much further for family breakfast.

New patties don’t come close to the original. Lacks flavor and cooks up mushy in the middle. Epic fail. Landfill ready.

They have no spices anymore. Been awhile since I have eaten them and I am very disappointed. I had forgotten about them until I saw them mentioned on something that I was watching. What did they do to them? Vegan doesn't mean no spices.

I am appalled with all the one star ratings!! This is an absolutely delicious sausage when it is cooked properly. Although I am not too fond of soy products, but the whole ingredients are very good. I am so happy to find this brand and enjoying it very much! THANKS!

Its hard to imagine anyone rating this less than 5 stars. These are the best Vegetarian Sausage Patties on the Market. They are full of flavor, and not dry.

I'm vegetarian and my husband and. kids are not, so I bought them primarily for myself, but our son actually prefers Morningstar Farms sausage patties to real sausage patties. I wish they were sold in larger quantities, because we blow through them pretty quickly.
