We received an orange that had visible mold on at least 50% of the surface. We purchased these items for curbside pickup. Even though I didn't pick these oranges myself, I'm going to assume that another human did. What kind of staff person sees or feels the molded surface and places it in a bag anyway? The mold covered so much of the orange it's hard to believe it was missed. I get that stores are understaffed, that staff are underpaid, etc. But you perform for the job you want- that you aspire to. This lack of care totally scares me. Maybe it's time to bring on the robots.

Every orange, every single one was wilted, borderline rotting. Nobody in the right mind would have selected this fruit themselves. Targets pickers are horrible at selecting produce. For drive up orders I’m convinced they pick the worst produce in order to get rid of product that would not sell otherwise. It’s better to short the customer than deliver garbage.
