Very versatile. Took a little while to assemble the quick release lever/arm that allows for easy up and down motion. But once I got this in place, the table was just as subscribed goes up and down extremely smoothly. Purchased it due to surgery reasons. Moves easily with wheels that also lock in place.

Does the job, but not long enough
This table shipped well in packaging provided, no dents, scratches, or other damage. The table is reasonably easy to assemble, only one or two hiccups before it was finally put together. It looks good, seems sturdy enough for the intended job, and the vertical adjustment works well enough going up and down. The main flaw in the design is that the table isn't long enough by about 3 inches or so. We have a Drive hospital bed and this table, by the same manufacturer, isn't long enough to comfortably provide enough space across your lap. That said, it is still ok given how much many overbed tables cost for essentially the same tabletop area. I would still buy it if given the choice again.

Sturdy, functional table
Purchased table for someone to use after surgery. Assembly was straightforward and only required a couple of tools; be sure to read instructions through fully. Table is sturdy and works well with armchair, sofa, and bed. I gave 4 stars because the walnut laminate on the table top had a chunk out of a corner of it, despite no damage to the packaging. This was quickly resolved by contacting Drive Medical customer service. Compared to other tables of this type, it is good value for money.

Extremely difficult assembly, works well once assembled
Took my hysband All day fo put together And he is handy, I’m sure I wouldn’t have been able to do if. Once together it works fine. Only purchase if you are extremely handy.

I read other reviews that mentioned that the wrong instructions came with it. I did not have that problem. Instead, NO directions were included. I found assembly instructions, though, under support on this website and successfully assembled the table. I was mystified, however, because there were a few included parts that were not mentioned in the instructions.

I just purchased this table. The included assembly instructions were for a completely different table! Fortunately I was able to find the correct instructions online. Very frustrating, but now it’s together hopefully it will work ok.

Assembly instructions don't match product.
Instructions that came with this product are of a different product and do not at all match what I needed to assemble this one. I had to go through all your questions and finally fond the correct instructions in one of your answers. Once I got to the website with the proper assembly instructions I did ok putting this together. But who needs all the extra hassle? Table seems just ok in quality. I would not order it again.

Non-tilt Overbed Table ...
I read the other reviews on this site and think-fully I read them after taking delivery of the unit. 1) Take the instructions that come with unit and throw them into recycling - the instructions that came with our unit was for another table 2) use the instructions from this website. They match the parts that come with the assembly kit and are clear. I assembled using the website manual and it went together easily. There is a trick at the end which must be done correctly or the unit is junk. The product seems to be of good materials w/o plastic weak spots.

Yes, you must follow the directions exactly. It does raise up easily. The reason I only gave it 3 stars is because it arrived with a small chip out of the top table part.
