Good for what it is
I don't understand some of the other reviews. No screws went through any part. Because of that review I was careful, but even then, no issues with that. I also don't see how this will fall apart while moving unless you treat this like it's one solid wood piece, which it's not. It's held together by less than real screws (dowel&turning thing). Move it carefully and not often. it's very pretty when put together. took me about an hour on my own to put it together.the instructions are great.

Soft particle board
This item looked great when assembled, but in simply moving it to it’s intended place, the screws, hidden cams and cam dowels completely ripped out of the particle board. Have assembled multiple pieces of furniture in the past with similar construction, and have never had anything happen like this. Poor quality particle board.

Nice-looking, good quality, but...
The bookcase is nice. It had easy to follow instructions if you actually read them. lol The particle board is sturdy and the veneer looks nice. I was hoping it would be more cherry than brown, but I still like the overall quality. As one other reviewer mentioned, one of the boards looked like it had been crushed, as there was a long crack in the veneer. BUT I didn't care because it is the underside of the top shelf. The carton arrived in goid condition so it wasn't done in shipping. It's sad that quality control didn't replace it. But we still used it and a brown sharpie would cover it if it really bothers me.

Nice Barn Wood Look & Easy to Assemble
This bookshelf is much better looking in person than in the pictures. We were pleasantly surprised since we paid less than $100 for it. Although it is particle board it has a nice barn wood look and my husband was able to assemble it within 30 mins. It fits perfectly in my Son’s room!

Nice looking, poor quality.
The particle board is cheap. It came cracked and the finish comes off too easily. It looks like the picture, but it’s not worth the price. It was fairly easy to put together.

Nice Looking & Solid Shelf
I bought this to use in our living room as a toy shelf for our little one. It worked out great. It's nice looking & plenty solid for what we wanted. I got it on sale so the price was easier to accept. It is still sauder so I think it should be a tad cheaper in general, but overall it's a nice shelf.
