Graco Tranzitions 3-in-1 Harness Booster Car Seat

I was really hoping this car seat would work, it has the features I want and the price point is not bad, but this car seat is absolutely not safe. I read the reviews saying it will not tighten down completely, but there were hundreds of reviews loving this car seat, so I was hoping those few saying it will not tighten had possibly experienced user error. I was wrong. I am a seasoned car seat installer and there is no way to tighten this seat down so that there's not more than an inch of movement in any direction. It moves at least 6 or more inches, sliding all over the seat and it would not tighten any further. How did this seat even pass safety inspections? I'm returning it pronto and I'll have to either settle for a more inexpensive seat without the features I want or break the bank on an expensive seat, either option is not great. Graco this seat is a gigantic failure. For the safety of everyone's children, do better.

I bought this for my grandson. It was very easy to install and is snug on the seat. I read reviews saying it slips but this one stays very tight.

Upgraded both my boys to these and they love them. I love how safe they are & slim so our backseat has more space.

Lower anchors will NOT tighten. I fought with this seat for over an hour because I really didn’t want to deal with returning it and getting a new one. I really tried here but after an hour of getting absolutely nowhere, I gave up. Every time I strained myself with pulling and then checking for tightness, the seat still moved a good 4 inches in all directions. I checked all the tips and hacks online too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Comfortable, but firm car seat. Has a slight angle to it which is good for when kids fall asleep. My kids are 4 and 6, with the four year old at 36" height. Both fit well in this seat; will probably have this until kids are ready for no seat at all, as this seat also functions as a booster. Giving it four instead of five as the only characteristic that makes this seat slightly inconvenient are the latches; instead of the push to click into the latch system in the car's seat, they are the spring loop type latches, that require you to hold the clip open with your thumb while you hook the clip onto the seat's latch. This can be a bit tricky if the latches are buried deep in the seats, but not impossible - just takes more effort than the push click type latches.

Easy to use and install but for some reason, neither of the two I purchased came with the cup holders. Pretty frustrating since my daughter is constantly trying to use them and spiller her drinks!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I personally do not care for this car seat. It’s solar impossible to get it strapped in tightly. I just feel like it’s too loose and moves around way more than it should. Just doesn’t feel very safe to me.

I wish I had known how the cup holders work. I had to write the company to figure out they weren’t missing. But it’s very light and slim! I love the black color.

Our granddaughter is much taller than most and we needed a booster seat that still had 5 point harness due to she is still under 4 yrs of age! This was perfect and easier for her to get in and out.

I love how padded this is for my little one. It felt soft and comfy, and perfect for long trips!

install is nearly impossible. we have two of these and they are the hardest seat to get tight properly. I am 9 months pregnant trying to install this in my third row of an Explorer and it is impossible to get tight. I am hoping a family member can help me get it tight.

These are great carseats for toddlers. They're secure, easy to use and comfortable

I love this seat for my 3 1/2 year old. The convertible was too bulky. This is much easier to get my son in and out of. Super easy to install and move from car to car.

We have 2 of these car seats, as though we love how light weight, easy they are to put together. Installing them into a vehicle without them being loose is a pain!! & it seems as though they always move. However we kept them to use for plane travel, since we are military and move around often we knew these would be lightweight and best for travel!! The only reason I gave them a low rating because installing them is negative for me!! (For safety reasons!)
