I met a woman about 10 years ago that had the most beautiful complexion. She gave all the credit to Black Opal foundation. Over the years I’d check your site periodically, becoming more frequent the last year or so and the lighter shades are ALWAYS out of stock. Please don’t discontinue them and finally restock! It seems to be one of your very popular and much loved products and every shade deserves to be represented. I want to try it so bad. Thank you!

Truly Topaz great for Warm Yellow undertones
This foundation (Truly Topaz) is great and has buildable coverage. The picture is attached below. It is also hard finding a good Warm Yellow undertone that is not olive/red. My more expensive foundation is Lancome. The only reason I did not give BlkOpl a perfect score is that it is NOT transfer resistant. Therefore use setting powder or spray if you need that. Otherwise, I have sensitive skin and no breakouts, no fragrance. Readily available at some CVS not all.

Title says it all. Looks like SKIN when you put it on. Literally looks so natural. Does oxidize a bit, but a good primer fixed that.

Truly Topaz is My Color!
I'm 73 years old, so it doesn't cover all my imperfections, but the color is right on. Thanks for a Black owned product that I can depend on. However, it only lasts a month.

A bit too thick and it's too dark
I had high hopes for this one. I got the same color as my stick foundation and I thought it would work perfectly like the samples I ordered but when I put it all on my face it's way too dark and it doesn't look natural, you can tell I'm wearing foundation, it just looks like I'm wearing thick paint.

I usually use BO foundation stick but decided to switch it up and try this foundation as I have read a lot of good reviews, however, I am really disappointed in this foundation. It's too thick for my liking and it always dries with a 'cakey' finish. I have tried exfoliating and switching up my moisturizer, but I realized it is the foundation itself. I will be sticking to my BO foundation stick.

By far my favorite foundation on the market. Having used all the expensive brands that only clogged my pores and broke me out. Even true is a God send. If you want compliments on your skin and foundation that really matches your skin tone I highly recommend it. You can build up the coverage and use concealer lightly to brighten your complexion. Use the setting powder to take away the shine!

I really like this foundation! Again, it's liquid, so it's a little oily, but it's not too liquid-y, either. It really helps evening out skintone, I barely had to use the concealer.
