Q: can side sleepers use these?

A: They may leak a little. Only because the padding is little stiff making it to have openings. If possible go next down. I’m 33years old the small and large fit me. If it’s lose or to tight it will leak.

Q: How absorbent are these compared to nighttime diapers? In my experience pull ups are usually not as absorbent as diapers and I wonder if it’s same in the nighttime category.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These were used with my 14yo son, they absorb a ton and keep him mostly dry at night. Just wish that the crotch was a bit wider as his anatomy sometimes causes leaks. These are much more convenient than the adult diapers we were using for him. Adult pull-ups do not hold up half as well as these do for him either. He’s rather happy with them though and we aren’t washing sheets every day as the leaks are random. I want to say he only leaks once every couple weeks and it’s normally small. Definitely recommend for older children who have nighttime issues. They are also very discreet when dry, they tend to swell a lot when wet though. Loose fitting pajamas will definitely hide the bulk when wet.

I do have a small suggestion or request, and that is to make the absorbency more capable to protect side sleepers or heavier wetters. Either more absorption or wider crotch area could be a solution.

While the fit on this new size is nice, there are few problems that tend to render this product mostly pointless. If a child or teen is on the larger or closer to fully grown, it should be able to withstand the volume of outflow and not leak. The biggest problem is that the material between the legs is a bit too narrow and the leak guards are not tall enough which results in leaks and still a wet bed. If the product fixes those issues I would give it 5 stars.

I used to use goodnites as a child for bedwetting and was super excited to learn about the new XXL size! I was finally able to catch a box in store and scooped them up right away! First impression they look and feel great! I will be wearing them to work as we don't have access to bathrooms on this job site and I have a week bladder. Kind of like being a kid all over again lol thanks goodnites! The only thing that would make these better in my opinion would be offering the character prints in the xxl as well
