    Sturdy bench that has a luxury feel

    This bench is very well made. The faux leather material is really smooth and gives the bench a nice touch. The shoe rack underneath is a bonus. Perfect bench for the foot of a bed. Storage aspect isn’t that deep it would be best used for light jackets and throw blankets.

    Essex Storage Bench

    I have this at the end of my bed. I purchased this because I especially like the shoe shelf under the storage bench section where I can keep my slippers and daily shoes. The brown color goes well with my mango wood furniture. It looks well made, and the lid opens easily. It is very functional and the storage section will work out well. It really needs two people to assemble the legs and shelf. But I was able to get it together with a bit of ingenuity,

    Great storage & great stylr

    Very stylish! Shelf underneath is handy for shoe storage in Summer. We plan to use baskets to store gloves, etc in the winter with shoes under the shelf. Storage inside bench is shallow; we use it for dog harness, leashes & the like. Very sturdy as well!

    Awesome entry bench

    Super easy to assemble. Comfortable to sit on while putting on shoes. I love that I can store hats, gloves and stuff under the seat, plus still have space underneath for shoes & boots.

    Love the color, the bottom shelf is great for shoe storage and I find it very comfortable to sit on. It’s a hard cushion so I’m hoping it will last. The inside storage compartment has a good space for paper storage just be mindful of the side hinges. If it’s in the way of closing it will stay partially opened. I had to make sure there was enough space on the edge when putting stuff away in there. The smell inside is quite strong too. I had to air it out and then placed moth balls inside to remove the smell. But other than that it was easy to build and the color is just like in the photo.

    This bench looks great. Looks like I spent more than I did. HOWEVER, the first one that arrived was broken and really messed up. So, even though I like the look of this, I'm going to treat the second one with caution. Relatively easy to put together, but you need some muscle to ensure the screws are in tight (allen wrench needed.) And, there is a strong odor inside the bench...we've been airing it out a few days before we moved it into our small bedroom. So...I would say, recommend with caution. If you want to use this in a kids' room or have kids, I'd say look for something really sturdy that can take a lot of abuse. But, if you are using it for adults only, I would recommend.

    Terribly rickety - very pretty but not functional

    We got this as part of our registry, and it is wobbly and unstable. We've only had it a year and we can't have anyone sit on it. It's really kind of embarrassing. I wish we could take it back but it's beyond the return window.

    Awesome storage ottoman

    Great looking. Rich color. Well constructed. Just what I was looking for at a great price. Open base legs need to be coaxed into place with some effort to attach to top but I was able to do it myself even though instructions said you need two people.

    True to advertisement and good value

    Good solid bench and a winner for value. There was very minor damage on the wood that was easily remedied with a magic marker. Other than that, it was easy to assemble and seems fairly solid. The dimensions are mostly true to description if not a 1/2 inch short on the width which works well for me.

    Nice product!

    Easy to put together...it did have a quarter size dent/depression on the bottom shelf when i received it...i assembled it so it would be in the back and not visible. Other than that, it looks and functions great and I got it at a great price on Cyber Monday!

    Ottoman bench as coffee table

    Bought to use as coffee table although it looks more like what it is, an ottoman bench. Good color, easy to assemble, very comfortable as ottoman. Looks more like a bench. But good size for our space, satisfied all in all.
