Absolutely awful tasting! The old recipe was much better. I can’t believe how much this went downhill. Took two bites and throwing in garbage.

The new recipe is disgusting.

Why change the taste?! It now tastes rancid and like old moldy cheese. Pass on this one!

Please back the original recipe. These are horrible!!!! Threw them in the trash.

These don’t actually taste that bad for a cheese lover like me who just denies the fact I shouldn’t eat it. I usually never go for the regular Babybel but these have a unique flavor. Kinda feels waxy too but overall I liked how they are made and they taste fine to me! Portion was just the right amount, packaging easy to take off and the bag does not reseal, it’s like a paper consistency so also don’t get it wet.

I would describe the taste to be almost like cheese and crackers together when you are just eating the cheese , but this may help mask it as dairy, pretty decent for for cheese .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cheese is a great dairy alternative. It tastes just like mozzarella cheese and has no after taster. I used it to make lunch pizza for school and it melted perfectly when I baked it. I like the taste.

The new recipe tastes like feet. I see what the're trying to do but, it needs a lot more work! H-E-B has the fiery hot flavor so, I switched to that.

The old recipe was perfect. Actually tasted like a good cheese alternative. The new recipe tastes like a mix between plastic and playdoh . I was so happy when I found this a year ago, and so disappointed now its changed. Unfortunately I won't be buying it anymore. The hunt continues for a good dairy free cheese.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Soft vegan cheese, not a strong flavor, could easily be added to a salad as a mozzarella replacement or used in a grilled cheese. Also works well as a quick snack. Does not leave an aftertaste in your mouth which is not always a given with a plant based cheese. As a vegan, I don't like vegan cheese options, I usually just forego the cheese, but it's nice to have a descent option now available and for a reasonable price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cheese tastes to me like yogurt but in a bad way. My husband says that this tree taste like plastic to him. Technically it is not cheese it is a plant-based snack. The cheese itself is not formed the same way as other babybel cheese's are and it has lots of little holes in it unlike it's cow based counterparts. I would prefer to buy the round red babybel cheese's. They are just pretty expensive. These are not the best vegan cheese on the market and I would say that if you are seeking vegetarian cheeses make sure to research what enzymes means because companies tend to use the word enzymes to hide trade secrets including animal renet. The only plus plus I would say about this cheese would be the packaging. I think that the outer packaging is nice because it's more papery so it's more recyclable, that being said, I'm not sure if my town would allow this to be recycled because it looks like it's waxy paper instead of just regular paper. And I think this cheese is similar to cilantro where people don't always taste the same thing.

The cheese itself has delightful texture that closely symbols, traditional cheese, and the flavor is simply amazing. It’s creamy rich and satisfying perfect for snacking on its own or adding to my favorite dishes.
