Fabulous
I have been using my then new K 240, for numerous years. Mine were made in Austria and since, moved operation to US. I am still enjoying my K 240's, having clear and distinct sound presentation. These headphones are very Neutral to my ears and can listen for hours, whether CD, Mp3[Streaming Music]. I highly recommend the K-240.

Have had them for more than a year and they've held up really well. Definitely worth the purchase, especially if you're looking for a lower-cost production/mix/sound design headphone. Also love that the wire is replaceable. Only thing is that folks with longer hair might sometimes get their hair caught between the L/R circles and the headphones, so just be careful when taking your headphones off! Doesn't happen to me *that* often, but would like to spare others the unexpected yank of hair off your head.

Birthday present for my Dad.
I bought them as a birthday present for my dad and he loves them he was so happy. He has tinnitus so he needs good quality sound to treat that. Very enjoyable to use.
I've used them only once, but they are a gigantic improvement to my older headsets-another manufacturer. Light weight, comfortable on the head and ears, and the sound was very good. A good purchase.

AKG k240 STUDIO gives great quality sound.
I bought them last week & the package came in 2 days. I use these headphones for mix n mastering. The wire also works for the k240 MKII headphones. Will probably buy a new pair of the MKII's. THANK YOU AKG FOR SUCH A GREAT PRODUCT AT SUCH A GREAT PRICE.

Beautiful Sound and Engineering Come Together
Am on my third pair now since early 1980s as two puppies got ahold of the first two. For the money, I cannot believe that any headphones can compete against K240 Studio Headphones. If you are considering, just stop, place order, and experience musicality as you have never even imagined. I rated five stars, would have given 10!

Have had two pairs of K240 headphones. Without question, the best bang for the buck. Comfort, accuracy, and spatial imaging is hypnotic! Don't mull on these, buy them if you indeed, are a music lover. Reproduction accuracy is startling.

Surprising
I’m an up and coming audiophile so I’ve been exploring some options for professional work, and I love these! They sound clear, and yeah, they don’t have heaps of base, but the base that is there isn’t crushed together, you can hear the really deep sub-bass, and the top end is awesome! The semi-open back design gives it such a wide sound its simply awesome! The cable is a little long, but it is removable so its not THAT big of a deal, plus the cable is really thick and durable. TLDR; Durable, sounds amazing, good for new audiophiles!
