    excellent stand

    The stand is very good-looking and solid. a nice piece of furniture. If I had had the room, I would have purchased the X-Large size. The stand is roomy and can support heavy equipment.

    Very sturdy and good looking. The assembly instructions are cryptic so you have to carefully understand each step and each part before you start assembling but once you figure it out it goes together easily.

    Mono price Double wide 3 tier AV stand

    A really nice and solid rack. All the parts fit together perfectly. It was very easy to assemble. Make sure you have someone around to help lift the shelves into place during assembly as they are heavy. It does hold heavy equipment without any sag. I loaded it with 2 McIntosh tube amps with no problem. I would highly recommend this unit. The biggest worry for me was that it would ship safely without damage as it weighs 96 lbs. It did fine.

    Met my expectation and some!

    Monolith by Monoprice Heavy Duty Double-Wide 3-Tier AV Stand, 47.2" Wide, Espresso. It's so sturdy and big enough for my audio equipment. It's easy to put together, but it's quite heavy.

    Pretty and Sturdy for Vintage Weight

    Took three men and a baby to get in the door, well packed, very big and heavy. Basic "Bert and Ernie" assembly with simple instructions with all parts supplied fitting together as they should. Adjustable feet to level, plenty of room in between shelves and depth was what I needed. Definitely what I needed and the price was right, Thanks Monoprice.

    Very Sturdy

    Replaced a glass unit with this and it is significantly more durable! Due to the size and weight of my center channel speaker (54lbs) and also of my amp (100lbs), I originally purchased two modular glass units, but even after doubling up the glass shelf, it still bowed slightly with the weight of the center channel speaker. This one unit replaces the two glass units easily. I love that it's modular, because with my center channel speaker being 12" high, it's challenging to find something at the correct height for having the speaker under the TV. With this unit, I removed one shelf and the feet, which was perfect for my setup. In addition to the improved strength of this unit, it also looks much better in my room than the glass units did. It was a bit expensive to buy another stand, but the quality and look was worth it!

    Tank Assembly

    Love it, built like a tank. I changed the the posts so the most height is on the first shelf from the top so my amp would have lots of breathing room. Word of caution, decide how you want to configure the shelf spacing before you start assembly because as you screw the posts down they will leave a perm. mark on the surface of that shelf. Great product, easy to put together.

    This thing is built like a tank. It's heavy. It almost killed the fedex driver getting it up a flight of stairs. Despite its weight, it's relatively simple to put together. But it's strong enough i feel i could park my car on it, looks nice too.

    Awesome stand

    This is a great looking stand which was easy to assemble and very solid. Can withstand the weight of my equipment with no problem. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. The only issue I had was one of the metal post's was scuffed up in shipping, but was able to mount that on the back of the stand where you can not see it. Not the fault of the manufacturer. As you can see in the picture it looks amazing!

    Just what I was looking for!

    Getting back into vinyl records, I needed a solid and level stand for not only the turntable, but all the equipment. Stumbled across this (ON SALE, YAY!!) and 3 day delivery (YAY again). This stand is SOLID, and perfect for my needs. Turntable and Multi-CD player on top, Amp and Preamp on the 2nd shelf, and the growing collection of albums on the bottom. Sturdy and level. Very quick and easy to assemble (but be warned...IT'S HEAVY...get help). Open design allows for air flow and easy cable/wire connection and management. I'll try to add a picture later.

    I cannot give an objective review because after ordering it 7 weeks ago I still have not seen it. I'm sure I'll love it, but I have to get it before I can assemble it, before I can say how great it is.

    High expectations

    Well the fantastic news is the fact that this actually beat my very high expectations. We've all been through crappy furniture that doesn't last particle board junk whatever. This is built like a tank in extremely easy to set up and even has the slots in the supports for inserting wheels to make it portable etc. The no-brainer to buy especially if it can get it on sale

    Great Stand For Big, Heavy Audio Equipment

    My Monolith Double Wide XL - AV Stand has worked out great. The bottom shelf is holding 2 amps that weigh 75 lbs. each. I left the center support on the front out of the assembly and my center channel speaker just barely fits between the top and center shelf. I don't know if you could slide a dime in, on top of that speaker. (NHT AC-2, 36lbs.) This tells me that the measurements that Monoprice publishes are spot on! You should know that this stand is heavy, 100 lbs. The Fedex delivery guy was happy I was there to help unload it. Assembly was easy and straight forward. You assemble this upside down and it will help if you have another person help turn it upright.

    Really good audio rack!

    Solid and heavy rack, which is what I needed for audio gear. Easy assembly, clear directions provided. May be the best rack available for the money spent. One request would be to offer spike feet with this rack.
