I like the sauce and the rice was good in this one, but the be'f pieces were like bland chunks that barely had any flavor. I wouldn't recommend this one or buy it again.

Alpo called, it wants its beef chunks back
The rice and sauce were fine. The broccoli never got tender and the be’f was comparable to dogfood. Maybe if it was in strips or shaved instead of chunks, it would have been more palatable, texture and flavor-wise. I got this meal on sale and it was still a waste of money.

Dry & burnt - defective product?
I bought this for the second time and I'm not sure if the specific product was defective as I had no issues before, but it was so dry that it essentially burnt and was inedible. Very disappointing and won't buy again, even though the one time I did have it I had previously enjoyed (although found the portion small).

Hit and miss
I used to really like these when they were new, but quality has dropped off severely in the past year. The amount of sauce is inconsistent, and is often low on sauce. Sometimes what I get is this thin, flavorless sauce, like the machine didn't put enough in the bowl before sealing it at the factory. You have to shake it at the store and listen for rice bouncing around and look for the slightest hint of a crushed package, because it means it either got warm, or it was smashed and the seal is broken. But even if you get one that seems like it will be fine, you're taking a gamble on if it's been made right at the factory. I've had atleast half a dozen of these end up spewing brown sauce water in a puddle in your microwave. When it's good, it's good, it's just not dependable like it once was, and probably won't be until quality control and packaging is improved.

Awful texture
Got an extra star because the rice and broccoli are OKAY. The beef is such a terrible texture and does not taste good. I had to add soy sauce and shovel it down my throat for it to be edible. Definitely would not recommend.

Too expensive now!
I enjoyed the Gardein plant based bowls in the past. I'm vegan and it's hard to find tasty ready made meals. Before they raised the price exponentially ($4.99 to $6.39???!) the only problem I had was that the plastic top would frequently be off when I opened the box with ingredients scattered inside the box. I overlooked it due to the price but now, I will have to look for alternatives.

Might Have To Be Starving To Appreciate This
The "be'f" was an absolute NO, everything else was fine (it actually would've been much better without it). The be'f doesn't taste good at all, the texture is fine but the flavor is gross. I didn't even eat all of them. These things are expensive but it was BOGO Free at another store so I gave them a try since it was much cheaper than regular price. Glad I didn't pay full price. I wouldn't buy these again. They're small so you really do need the protein to get full....but the protein tastes gross

Excellent taste! Lots of 'meat'. You knew it wasn't beef because it was very tender and no gristle, so that is a win in my book. Wish it had more broccoli, but that's because I love broccoli. Anxious to try the other meals.

I tried to scarf it down
This was pretty bad. I think the worst part was the sauce I ate about 1/4th of it until I couldn’t take it anymore. It’s really gross. The be’f texture was like eating a hard clay. Rice and broccoli totally fine. But the sauce GAG (literally that’s why I couldn’t finish) and the be’f are horrible. The be’f in the be’f and vegetable soup has a much better texture, if you’re expecting that like I was beware it is not the same at all!

Be'f doesn't taste like anything
The rest of it (the broccoli, rice, and sauce) was on par for nuked stir fry, but the "be'f" had a texture that was almost like powder, and didn't taste like anything.
