A: We would like Target to work with Threshold to convey that customers WANT this to be made in a food safe version so customers have the choice of either bathroom use or kitchen use/food storage. The lid would need a gasket seal to keep food more fresh/safe and also that lets the lid lift with minimal resistance (no glass breaking/slippage).

What a cute jar! I got the large size to hold my Epsom salts in my bathroom. It comfortable holds 6 cups (3 pounds) of salt, as seen here in this photo. Which is a standard size bag of Epsom salt. The lid doesn't have a rubber ring on the inside so I don't think this would be good for things like rice, grains, sugar, etc. But for something that doesn't need to be completely tight it's great!

I LOVE the look of these class canisters, the one thing it is missing is a rubber seal in the lids. Due to this, the lid doesn't close tightly and rattles around a bit. I worry my laundry pods I plan to store in here will become soggy without the seal, but fingers crossed that isn't the case!
