It’s difficult to find glass foaming soap dispenser, so I was really happy when I found this one. But unfortunately, within a couple of months, the spout broke. So I’m back to using the disposable foaming soap dispensers again. I’m very disappointed with the quality of this product. It looked really nice, but it just didn’t hold up.

Check the size first!
Returning because it's really quite large - takes up a lot more space than I was expecting. Real estate on my sink ledge is valuable and this is easily 30-40% bigger than an average soap dispenser. (But it is very pretty!)

"Metal turns green with limited use"
The glass portion is made very well and has a very aesthetic appeal to the design. However, the gold medal part turns green with mild soap. I use the sweet water soap refill. This particular dispenser has only been used for six months in our basement kitchen that doesn’t get used daily.

NOT FOAMING
While this soap dispenser is labeled as appropriate for foaming soap; it is not. The pump does look like a foaming pump so maybe the one I received doesn’t work or maybe they all don’t work. If you buy this, just be prepared, you may have to use regular hand soap in it as liquid foaming soap isn’t viscous enough and shoots out a foot or two (without any foaming).
