Description
Cinnamon - that most popular of spices - comes from the bark of an evergreen tree. Cinnamon's sweet, spicy and warm fragrance adds pungent sweetness to your favorite baked goodies. You can also use it to add a depth of flavor to savory dishes as well. In combination with other spices (like cloves, nutmeg, cardamom, ginger, allspice, and black pepper), cinnamon shows up in a wide array of spice blends, including pumpkin pie spice, apple pie spice, cider blends, five spice powder, curries, pickling spice, even popcorn seasoning!

The Ceylon cinnamon has received mixed reviews from guests. Many appreciate its health benefits, organic nature, and mild flavor, making it suitable for daily use in various recipes. However, some guests find the flavor too mild compared to other cinnamon types. The product is praised for its quality and value, especially for those seeking a healthier alternative to cassia cinnamon.

I would rate in negative stars if possible. This CANNOT be cinnamon. The wrong color; no fragrance; no flavor. Just a brown powder. I have lost confidence in the brand.

Within a month the fragrance was gone this added no essence to baking and was merely brown dust. Poor quality.

I think I'm being generous. I switched from Cassia-based to Ceylon based because I was told Ceylon is the real thing. I can't tell any difference to be honest.

Just started using this today. I am drinking a coconut milk, ceylon cinnamon, and raw honey beverage right now. Ceylon cinnamon is very low in toxicity. I researched it, and it is an antioxidant, and may be helpful for memory, and other benefits. I'm looking forward to seeing the long-term health benefits. I have never tried ceylon before and only used cassia in small amounts. Ceylon can be used in larger amounts for health benefits and may help prevent Alzheimer's. I'm very happy that it's organic and the amount will definitely last throughout the year ! I bought it because it was a great price, and I had been interested in trying it for awhile. Thanks for carrying it!!

I am glad that it is organic and that the package is a large size for a good price. Although it doesn’t have a strong cinnamon flavor, it is not harmful to your liver like the other types of cinnamon.

Best true cinnamon around. I have reordered it was so good. I fill my shaker and freeze the rest. It stays fresh forever that way.

The best! A bit less harsh than others and the only one that is less interfering of blood-thinning medications. FYI turmeric can also interfere as well...so beware.

I use cinnamon a lot. It is hard to find Ceylon cinnamon so I appreciate this opportunity to get it at a good price. I seldom give 5 stars so is a top rating for me.

The Ceylon cinnamon is flavorful and naturally sweet. The price is excellent, compared to the prices for Ceylon cinnamon in the local stores. I highly recommend this over the typical cinnamon most people have in their cupboards.

This is my favorite cinnamon and I use it all the time, particularly in my oatmeal in the AM - I don't use sugar just some balsamic and some cinnamon and always a lot of fruit.

I highly recommend this product. While I have no verification of cholesterol at this, I have experienced less pain with my arthritis.

I use a lot of Cinnamon, medicinally and as a spice. I have over 3 lbs of the bulk Frontier Cinnamon on hand. I like the anti-inflammatory properties when used in fairly high amounts, 4-5 grams. Suffering chronic pain, I use it as a replacement for NSAIDS, and it is effective as a blood thinner, for stabilizing blood sugar and blood fats. I combine it with raw honey, mixing together and eating whole... and I make a really punched up cinnamon toast. Spreading (soft) room temp butter over wheat bread, and sprinkle sugar uniformly over the butter, broil in the toaster oven, until caramelized (nearly burning the edges of the bread) converting the simply sugars to polysaccaride / long chain sugars, enhances uptake and integration into synovial fluid of the joints... I then sprinkle cinnamon after toasting, as it is hard to gauge toasting of the bread... hard to explain, but worth trying...
