Q: What are the true dimensions of the rug? I see it is listed as 7x10 but many times they are more or less since they are hand woven. Please let me know!

A: Hello Joe - Even though this is a handmade product, the final measurement will be as close to 7’ x 10’ as humanly possible. We have minimal tolerances for measurements, so it may be 1” or so off, but each rug is expected to measure 7'x 10', so you can expect the same. Thank you. - Sherry

The rug is very pretty and looks great in the room, but it sheds an incredible amount. Even with regular vacuuming, the fibers come off easily, which can be frustrating. If you don’t mind extra cleaning, it’s a lovely piece, but be prepared for a lot of shedding.

This rug is so cute- color and pattern but thats where the good stops. We have small kids so we are constantly on the ground and this rug is so rough/scratchy and sheds EVERYWHERE! We've had it over a year and it still sheds off fibers like it did when we got it. Replacing with something better quality.

Really loved the design of the rug when we purchased it. Definitely neutral enough for any room in our house. However, it sheds like CRAZY. We have had it about a year and have to vacuum it every few days to pick up the shedded fibers. Finally has gotten to the point that we’re sick of it. Expensive rug for the constant shedding.

This rug is beautiful and exactly what I was looking for! As others have said, it does shed. I took the recommendation from another reviewer to roll it out and vacuum it for few days. I used my Dyson on max which prevented the clogging up issue and vacuumed it few times a day for few days and the shedding has stopped! It’s normal for wool rugs to shed especially when new so just keep vacuuming if you want to keep the rug!

Very nice design rug and I really wanted to keep it but just by the time I unrolled it made a big mess with all the wool coming out. So if you don’t mind the rug shedding it is definitely a beautiful rug to have.

I have had rugs worth thousands that kids and pets destroyed and the quality of this rug is comparable. Wool rugs shed. Finding a rug pattern to fit an abode home is hard and neutral not to clash with Navajo rugs and polished concrete floors. This one scored on all counts. The price also means in a few years if I want something different I can without a cost loss. This rug makes me happy!

I really want to LOVE this rug. It looks amazing. I’ve had it for about a month now. The first thing I noticed was the shedding. IT SHEDS A LOT! It even clogged my Dyson :( I will update rating a couple of more months out.

Love this rug!! It shed like CRAZY when we first got it, little white threads allllllll over my house. But I’ve vacuumed it daily for a couple weeks and it is shedding much less now. I’m sure it will be fine after some more consistent vacuuming. Still recommend it. It’s not crazy soft or plush but love the neutral design and it’s the perfect fit for our living room! Haven’t had to clean a spill or mess yet so not sure how easy it will be to clean.

Love the pattern! It has a slight smell and sheds a TON. I’ve vacuumed it for an hour so far and will continue to do so until it stops. It’s pretty thick which makes it comfy on your feet but I do find it to be a bit scratchy. Hoping it softens up over time. I got it on sale for Labor Day so overall I think it was worth the price!

This rug is beautiful, but very low quality for the high price. I have had this rug for a few months now and have vacuumed it over 100 times since, it still sheds buckets. It's like sheering sheep after the coldest winter on record. If you have pets then perhaps you'll be okay with this rug, because it's basically like having one. The fibers endlessly shed and stick to everything it comes in contact with. My vacuum is going to burn out, I attached a photo of how much is picked up after just a single pass of the vacuum cleaner months later, can start making a new rug at this rate.

This is a great rug for the price! It’s modern without being super trendy. Since it’s wool, I expect a lot of shedding. I gave it a nice long vacuum before putting it in place and I’ll continue going over it the next couple of days. I didn’t have any issues with smell like some of the other reviews.

Initially I was excited about this rug...it is thick, plush, and soft. After living with it for 6 months, I am so disappointed. It sheds like crazy. The photos attached show what the rug looks like after one day of being walked on. I can't stand it! The thickness of the rug also makes it very difficult to keep in place, despite using rug grips.

Sheds A LOT but stops… eventually. I would recommend vacuuming several times a day for like two weeks to get it to stop but when it does you can finally appreciate how pretty and soft it is on your feet. I attached a pic of the fluff that sheds constantly, only the black hairs are my dog I don’t have a husky lol

This rug will not stop shedding! Every time I vacuum, my entire vacuum canister fills up with carpet fluff. This rug also REEKS, it made my entire living room smell like feet and guests commented on its stench.
