Fun, functional bed

We have 2 of these beds (one white, one black). We’ve been using them for several months now and we love them! Frequently one of us parents is in it with each kid and it’s sturdy and holds all our combined weight. Putting it together was a chore, and needs 2 people for a few parts of the process, but reasonable and worth it. It is not fun to put sheets on it or make the bed, and it’s creaky when my husband or I get in and out or roll around, but not when the kids move. I didn’t give quality 5 stars because I constantly constantly worry why the California prop warning is on this product and hope that it’s for some silly reason and not an expected health concern. Is it only due to the grommets and screws, or is there lead in the paint, or is it just due to the paint in general as all paint, even if it doesn’t have lead, etc. ?
