Q: Can First Aid Beauty ultra repair face moisturizer with SPF be used on the eczema prone skin, including under eye area and eye lids?
submitted by Longtime Target customer - 11 months ago
A: Our Ultra Repair Face Moisturizer with SPF is safe to use on those with sensitive skin however as with any product, we always recommend doing a small patch test first. While this can be used on your face where you would normally apply sunscreen, we recommend being careful applying too close to the eyes if you're someone who rubs their eyes or if sweat may cause the product to migrate into your eyes.

This product burns my eyes so badly. Obviously, I avoid the eye area while applying but every time I get even remotely near it, my eyes burn and water like crazy.

I will say the spf protection did work.... However, it broke me out! I was wearing a hat, so I only put it on my cheeks, nose and chin (thank God)! By a few hours later, I noticed my skin was super irritated so I washed it off but it was already too late. Bad bad breakout followed. I will be putting this right in the trash where it belongs since I never want to make that mistake again. Overpriced for something that harmed my skin.
It's ok but…

I bought this one and took it back the next day. Like, it's ok but i used it and it left a bad white cast behind that would not rub in. I took mine back and got the one without the suncreen and its great. Its the same exact thing - just without the suncreen.
Ghastly whitecast. Not ultra repair cream adjacent

The product name led me to believe this would basically be the ultra repair cream, but with SPF. I was misled. The ultra repair cream is my holy grail; this product deserves jail. Somehow simultaneously super dry and greasy. Horrible whitecast. I'm olive-skinned, so if you're fairer, you may be able to pull it off, but it'd still be a risk. I'm upset because I purchased during BOGO last year so now I have two bottles to suffer through rather than just the one. I'm almost through the first bottle; it's taking me a while because I pretty much only wear it indoors at home so nobody sees me looking ghastly in public. I miss the FAB tinted moisturizer with SPF. Now *that* was a good product.
Not very happy with this product

Very thick and has a very strong sunscreen smell. No matter how thin I apply it it leaves a white hue over my face and does not run in very well. I have KP Bumba and it only seems so make it worse after I've used it once.
Do not buy!

I bought this and wish I never did , my face is on fire , for the first hour it was fine and I thought I’d finally found an spf I liked , then I got to work and it started stinging , like really stinging! I have rosacea aswell so this is definitely a no go now and with how much I spent on it I am severely disappointed
SO PRETTY UNDER MAKEUP

This product not only looks AMAZING under makeup but its not harsh on the skin and doesn't break you out. I love using the regular ultra repair face moisturizer in the winter so this product was a holy grail in the summer. It sits so beautifully under makeup, better than any primer. It keeps you hydrated throughout the day to. I love mixing this cream with my bronzing drops to prevent a white cast. It is sunscreen so be careful with how much of it you put in your under eye area because like any sunscreen... it can irritate the eyes.

I love everything from First Aid Beauty & had high hopes for this. Very disappointing! It's thick, doesn't absorb into your skin, just sits on top. It also pills terribly-even hours later!

I love this brand but I am so disappointed in this product. My eyes burn so bad whenever I use this product. Even after washing it off I cannot get rid of of the burning sensation. Not very hydrating and leaves a white cast as well.
Very disappointed

I love this brand but this product is awful:( I found the moisturizer pretty thick and ended up having to use a decent amount to even cover my face. With the larger amount I was using I didn't find it very hydrating and my face felt tight. It also left a white cast and was a little streaky. The absolute deal breaker was the burning in my eyes. I cannot open my eyes at all with how bad it is. Even after washing my face the burning sensation won't go away. A waste of money and a lot of tears.
Burned my eyes.

I love the original Ultra Repair Moisturizer so I bought this one hoping it would be the same. I found it hard to rub into my skin. It felt like it just sat on top of my skin. It also burned my eyes. Even when I'm careful not to get it anywhere near my eyes I end up tearing up pretty bad.

I bought this a week ago because it had built in SPF but I do not like the strong white cast it leaves on my face. I have brown skin and it makes me look insane after I apply it. And it’s almost unusable unless I’m going to put makeup on over it which I have to do because the grey cast it leaves is so bad. I absolutely want a refund.

I bought because I have dry skin. This moisturizer left a white cast on my face, and my skin felt dry and tight instead. I am returning this product.

Feels more like sunscreen than moisturizer. Leaves my face oily, which makes my bangs oily.

One of my favorite moisturizers plus sunscreen, I had to have it. I should've read the label fully. My skin was moist but I looked ashy because I'm African American and there's too much zinc in it. May still use a small drop of it mixed in another moisturizer to see if that makes a difference.
