Peels and leaves white cast!
DO NOT BUY! Peels and leaves a white cast! Very disappointed because I purchased when it was on sale thinking it was a good price and would work great but never tried right away because I was finishing off a different clinque product (moisture surge spf 28 which does not peel or flake) since the moisure surge works really good i thought this product would be the same since its the same brand and is also spf but WRONG! I passed the return window and now can't even return! Super upset because it peels within the first hour and the white cast is super noticeable! So I can no longer use this product waste of money! :(

Makes my skin flakey
After all the reviews stating the same thing... that this cream FLAKES off, you would think Clinique would change the formula. I used Clinique for a couple decades but with the expensive prices, I can't do it any more. The eye cream flakes too.

Pills, can't use it
I would return this product but I bought it as part of a set. It completely pills and flakes. I can't use it. I've tried using it by itself. I've tried using it after Dramatically different moisturizing lotion. I've tried, using clarifying lotion and not using clarifying lotion. No matter how many combinations I have tried, it still pills. Listen to the reviews. I use Clinique Superdefense City Block SPF 50 normally. I bought this thinking I could kill two birds with one stone. No! It is the worst Clinique product I've ever tried. I've been using Clinique for 50 years.

DO NOT BUY. Flakey.
Got a small sample and tried using this several times with different serums and lightweight foundation and same flaking happens every time. It's like rolling dried glue and you get all this white flakes peeling on face. I've had to wash my face off every time after. NOT WORTH IT. Worst product I ever used from Clinique. Discontinue this awful product!

Makes my foundation clump and flake off.
Very disappointed in this. Feels good on your skin but when you put it on underneath your Clinique makeup foundation it clumps and flakes . I bought this awhile ago and just started using it so I don't think that I can return it. Would have liked to get a refund as it is expensive.

It pills and flakes
This item just pills and flakes on the skin, no matter what I do. I am so upset because I am loyal to Clinique. I need another choice, or do I need to use sunscreen, moisturizer, and antiaging cream separtate? I would really like my money back.

I'll buy different product next time.
This product feels to sticky on my face but I may add lotions to it to see if that helps. I'll still use it when I work in yard.

Flaky
I am having the same problem as other reviewers: the cream pills and flakes as soon as it dries on the skin. The overnight cream and the old Smart Repair with spf 15 didn't have this problem. I have stopped using this version. because the flaking is annoying.

lesson learned, read reviews...
Well, all I can say is, lesson learned. Always read the reviews. As others have said, this stuff is awful. Peels and flakes off and leaves white stuff all over your face. Not the look I'm going for... To make matters worse, I purchased it when they had a bunch of free gifts offered, many of which were pretty useless to me like a large bag, a notebook, etc. and these items must be returned with the product in order to return the item. Sadly I threw them out as soon as they arrived, so now I'm stuck for the cost of this useless lotion, which was not cheap. I wish they allowed exchanges in this scenario as I love most of the other products in this line. Also on a side note, I tried to remove the notebook and large bag from my cart to save the waste, but then all my free gifts were removed. I wish Clinique allowed me to accept only the gifts I want. The large bag was mailed separately and went straight into the trash.

Product flakes after use
This product is not good to use as it flakes off after it dries on your face. Please bring back Clinique Repairwear Broad Spectrum SPF 15 Uplifting Firming Cream, as it does not flake and is a great product.

Peels under makeup
Love Clinique, very disappointed in this product as it peels under makeup no matter how little one uses. The rich cream version is fabulous, but I need SPF as well.

Disappointing
I was really disappointed with this moisturizer. The moment I applied it, the cream started flaking off my skin, no matter how little I used or how I layered it. After more than 30 years of using this brand without a single issue, this was a first. I couldn't make it work and ultimately had to throw it out. I don't recommend this product.

Messy!
Once dry, this product peels off leaving white specks all over my face and neck. I don't expect the SPF is doing its job if it peels off. I intended to wear this under makeup, but that doesn't work due to the peeling. Even without makeup it peels.

Bring Back Repairwear Uplifting Cream
I like this cream and the feel of it but I tried this cream for about 6 months and a few wrinkles didn't change, even used with the serum. It doesn't uplift either. Personally, I prefer the Repairwear Uplifting Cream which does the trick and is alot more smoother to apply. When I called Clinique CS they told me this cream replaced the Repairwear Uplifting Cream. Please bring back.

Did not like it.
I've been using Clinique since I was a teenager. That is close to 40 years. Now that I am older, I choose Smart repair. I do not like it at all. It does not spread well. It feels like I am applying glue. I also hate the smell. It doesn't supply enough hydration for my aging skin. The night cream is slightly better but not by much.

No
It doesn't absorb into the skin and flakes. Thinking about returning it for a refund.

It's a no for me
I wanted to love this, but the pilling is just too much. It's a shame, because I really like this line.

Flaky and sticky
In the jar, it looks like a regular SPF moisturizer, but when applied onto face, it's very sticky and difficult to spread. It shows white flakes in a couple of minutes after applying. When layered with foundation, it's even worse, it piles a great deal. I tried different products with it hoping the texture play out but no luck. Even paired with its own collection serum, it still has all the problems. I don't know what to do with it.
