When first bought in August, the lights were a nice light gold color but after a short 5 months, the color has since faded. It's sunny in California, and I had expected the color to change over time, but not this quickly. In the attched photo, you can tell that the sun hits the center light the most because it is now a greyish silver, and the left light the least since it retained its saturated color.

For extreme sun or weather locations it is sometimes best to go with a marine grade finish that is engineered to be rust and corrosion resistant. Thank you for the comments.

The description says the color is soft gold. However, the color is actually a tacky orange nothing like the color shown.
