Oily, Dehydrated Skin
I have been searching for a decent moisturizer for my oily, acne prone, dehydrated skin for so long that I had to write a review for this cream. I tried several different moisturizers across different brands, price points, etc. and for the life of me could not find anything that was both light enough to not to break me out yet “heavy” enough to actually moisturize my super dehydrated skin. This cream finally does just that for me. In the container it look like a thicker cream but as soon as you actually put it on your skin it immediately feels and spreads like a gel cream. A single jar also lasts me longer than other moisturizers I have tried where it felt like I finished them and had to repurchase after a week. Definitely recommend giving this a try!

Bring back the water gel fragrance free moisterizer!
What happened to the water GEL fragrance free moisturizer? That never broke me out but this is not it. Please bring the other one back!

May cause a reaction after a day or 2
It seemed to work at first, then my face started to break out in weird bumps.

Not wild about this product
I love the Hydro Boost water gel MOISTURIZER but UNFORTUNATELY, this version, “water cream”, leaves my skin feeling gross and sticky. I wish i hadn’t bought it!

very hydrating
I used it on my hands. I'm constantly washing my hands all day. They became extremely dry and cracked; they hurt like crazy. I started using the hydroboost cream on my hands throughout the day and within 3 days, my hands wre back to normal. Other lotions that I tried, didnt do as good of a job. I know this is supposed to be for face and neck, but I will be using it for my hands as long as its on the market.

It works to make skin soft however it doesn’t penetrate the skin barrier like cerave or Vanicream. It’s good for me daily up keep however if you have barrier damage or really dry skin it’s not for you

Where has this been all my life?!
Truly the most moisturizing cream I’ve ever tried, EVER! And I’ve tried tons. Be sure to get the maximum one that says “9x” on the package. It’s so light as you put it on, no grease or gunk, it’s not thick at all, and yet somehow it’s packed and loaded with moisture! I’m serious! It spreads on your face thinly, but magically it’s super moisturizing. Not like any other product. I’ve tried so many that start off seemingly moisturizing but try after not very long, leaving you dry again. This one stays all night!! I would only recommend at night because it’s super moisture and may not work well under make up, and also it has no SPF. I wake up in the morning still dewy and fresh. Buy it if your skin is dry.

This was recommended by my dermatologist. I have very dry, but also oily skin. It definitely hydrates, but doesn’t feel like it fully absorbs. It makes my face look even more oily after a while, so I will only really use it at home.

horrible formula change - Stay far away
Why would a brand discontinue a beloved producT and reformulate it when literally no one asked for that? Usually because they want to use cheaper ingredients and sell us a worse product for the same or more expensive price. and that’s exactly what happened here. this formulation breaks me out, pills like crazy, and feels awful on my skin. having to find a new holy grail moisturizer after 5 years. Don’t waste your money
