I received a free jar of Ponds Flash Hydration moisturizer. I remember my mother using Ponds when I was younger but back then they called it "Cold Cream". It was heavy and rich and I didn't like it. When I received this new Ponds I was pleasantly surprised by how light and comfortable it felt on my skin! I really like the way it makes my skin look and feel and have even purchased another jar of it!

I tend to not use ponds products as that brand doesn't always work well with my combination skin type. However, I was sent this as a free sample to try, and have had pretty good results so far. It has t caused me to break out&has moisturized my face just enough without over doing it! I would highly recommend on summer days when most people tend to get a little bit more oily than usual.

It applies smoothly, has a pleasant smell and texture, and doesn't leave the skin tacky or sticky. It also wears well under makeup. I wouldn't recommend it on days when your skin is dehydrated or tending dry but for balanced days, this is perfect. Definitely recommend

To be honest it does hydrate my skin but I don’t like how tacky it feels as it drys. I don’t use it every day as I should because I’m not a fan of the way it feel on my skin. I have used it on my sunburn to help heal it faster. I do love how it smells. It’s like a cool summer rain mixed with the ocean. I will definitely be buying it for the summer and I’ll try it out for the winter season as my skin has a tendency to be more sensitive in the colder months.
