A: Yes there is a number pad on the inside of the handset just like a real one. You can press them but they dont actually do anything or make sound.

A: I purchased a few Hyde & EEK products with "try me" cords and just popped it right out of the product and threw it out! Everything's working fine, it definitely doesn't risk the functionality :)

This is the loudest toy I’ve ever purchased with no ability to adjust the sound. Kids love it but it’s not good for them to be putting such a loud sound to their ears.

This item arrived with no packaging or anything to keep both sides of the phone together. The phone was in try mode and when "picked up" it made noise so it was probably going on and off thw whole time. The phone was just thrown in a HUGE box with two sheets of brown paper and the item was just swimming in there the whole way. POOR PACKAGING other than that the item is great just make sure to buy IN STORE if possible. Needless to say DO NOT PUT OR LET OTHER PUT THE PHONE RIGHT NEXT TO THEIR EAR IT IS VERY LOUD

Almost great! I want to love it! It is loud like everyone else has said. And pretty annoying. I could get past that but I’m reallllllly disappointed the buttons don’t do anything. If they made a sound when pushed it would be 10/10. It does look great and is a fun add to my kids’ spook table but could easily be better!

I love mine! The only reason why I gave it 4/5 stars is because I wish there was volume control AND I wish the buttons (numbers) you press can make a sound of dialing or sounds of the monsters on the phone line I think that would have been a great concept!

This thing is sooo loud. It’s on whether the switch is turned on or off. I wish there was a volume control. Other than that, it looks really cool and has a hole to hang up on the wall if you’d like.

I’m excited I was able to get this, always wanted a retro 90s phone & the fact it’s Halloween theme makes it better! Looks like a real phone, the sound is loud & clear, & buttons are pushable. Easy to hang, but sometimes comes off the wall when you pick up the phone, so recommend securing it if possible. Other than that I love it & worth the price!

It’s cute, but don’t order it online. They just sent my replacement one and even worse than the first one. It’s not in a package and each one has had bad scratches all over from flying all over the box. Just going to wait until it’s in the store to exchange it.
