I ordered what was represented as one pound packages of Go Raw sprouted sunflower seeds & sprouted pumpkin seeds. When I received them the packages were lighter than described, weighing 14 ounces each.

I tried the chocolate ones and they were not too tasty. The lemon ones are better. But I tried making these myself after finding a recipe on the Internet, and they are way way tastier when you make them yourself. And they're not hard to make. Interestingly, the squirrels will not eat these GO RAW cookies. But they will eat the homemade ones.

I knew these were raw seeds and I planned to roast them myself. I use low temperatures for nuts and seeds, as recommended by Sally Fallon in her book Nourishing Traditions. My almonds, after about 18 hours in the oven, come out crisp and delicious. These sunflower seeds were fairly crisp to begin with, but time in the oven did not change their flavor. I just don't like the flavor of raw sunflower seeds. Also, in my opinion these seeds are over-salted. This opinion is based on finding the flavor too harsh. It's not based on any notion I have about salt being evil.
