    Read the ingredient list before buying

    I guess I should have read the ingredients on this, but when the label just says "sunflower seeds" I'm not sure it should be necessary. Label should read "sweetened and seasoned sunflower seeds" since they are coated with sugar, cornstarch, corn syrup, maltodextrin, plus garlic and onion powders. Yuck.

    I love sunflower seeds and opened these to get a weird sweet taste and just knew there was sugar in them. My fault for not looking at ingredients, but wow, 2 starches and 2 sugars? Only need 2 ingredients to make these good, well even one works. Hard pass on these and will not repurchase

    Rancid seeds in Best By 2027 jar

    These had a Best By date of April 2027 but they are rancid. Despite trying a few before adding them to the cookie mix, the batch tastes off. It's December 2025 and I have no idea how old these are now but it does make me wary of other food items in this line.

    Splurge for grocery store ones instead

    I would not buy this again. Which is unfortunate, because I bought 2 of them in order to get a Target deal to work. I’ve been eating sunflower seeds like crazy lately and they’re almost $6 at Publix so I thought I’d try these. These are about half the price and I see why - they are not tasty
