The beat variety of Purple Carrot!
I absolutely love these frozen meals. I eat one for lunch at work most weekdays as part of my efforts to eat more veggies. Many frozen at this price point are simply rice, a little meat and a few veggies. Purple carrot has a lot of veggies and the recipes are varied in flavor - it keeps things fresh. The Tikka Masala is the most flavorful one. I would recommend this to all trying to have a few more veggies on their diet.

Incredible if Cooked Correctly
This is honestly the best frozen meal I’ve ever had in my life. I cooked it in a very specific way that I want to share because sometimes frozen dinners can cook up really dry. The directions say to cook 4.5-5.5 minutes. I cooked mine for 4.5 minutes total but while cooking I stopped it after 2.5 mins to stir it and make sure the sauce was covering all the vegetables. Then cooked again for another minute, stopped one more time to stir, and then cooked one more full minute. I let it sit for a minute in the microwave and then opened it and ate it. It was incredibly flavorful, tasted amazingly like tikka masala, and was perfectly moist with not too much sauce. This will be my new go to for frozen meals (and I’m not even a vegetarian or vegan.)

My favorite from the Purple Carrot line
The Tikka Masala is my favorite dish from the Purple Carrot line. It is a tad bit heavy on the sauce, but my favorite foods shine through. Another reviewer said that the meal was rice heavy. I don't think it is. It isn't just rice but a nice combination of farro and brown rice. I will definitely buy this again.

I agree with Flo Rida. I've found Purple Carrot vegan frozen meals to be hit or miss. This one was sort of the latter. Very, very saucy with big chunks of sweet potato, a lot of rice, and a few garbanzo beans. Not especially good and not filling, yet high-calorie.
