These Baby Plant Ribs hit the spot
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Morning Star is a trusted name in the vegan/vegetarian space, so how did this rib stack up? I found it easy to cook, they provide a tray that goes right into the oven. The portion was pretty big with lots of that sweet BBQ sauce. The BBQ is a tad sweet for my tastes, would’ve liked it to have a tad bit more heat but it was a tasty sauce. I opted to make it into a sandwich using some sourdough, sauerkraut, and cheese. Having it this way balances the sweetness a bit for me, though having it on its own is perfectly acceptable. The texture is surprisingly meat-like and if I didn’t know I would’ve thought it was the real thing. Overall I think this product is definitely worth a try if you’re craving ribs and on a vegan/vegetarian lifestyle, or if you’re like me and just like trying new products.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: I made a ribwich, McDonald’s-style on a baguette with pickles and onions and it was great! Love the sweet bbq sauce, definitely paired well and the oven directions cooked it perfectly. On its own the non-meaty flavor is definitely present, but otherwise undetectable as a sandwich. Cons: For the price I think it’s a little pricey and putting the plastic in the oven made me feel a little iffy.
