How do I love this 5x8 Rosette Medallion rug in Brown? Let me count the ways... 1) The colors are exactly as pictured. I wanted something for my palette of gold, rust and sage, and this is it! The creamy background sets off the colors so as to appreciate them but keep the overall effect soft, not harsh. Comforting earth tones, nothing artificial or glaring. 2) The very short cut pile is yes, soft to walk on, but esp.-- not overly cheesy and traditional (not too perfect or precious). It's the only cut pile rug I own, and it blends perfectly with my other more rustic indoor/outdoor rugs. 3) It's 100% polypropylene and pet friendly. The only type I'll have in my house with cats. 4) The original image is nicely translated into an affordable version. Of course, these are all digital reprints nowadays; but the image doesn't strike me as digital at all. The perimeter is perfect; not pixelated but not blurry or indistinct or washed out. The center medallion is lovely with good detail, yet there is some "vintage" feel to the design. It's not faded, but not exact. 5) Did I mention the colors? My project is to get the "ugly" out of my kitchen. I really wanted a touch of sage, so that I can go in a sage direction if that works ultimately. This rug may have gray detail, vs. sage. But color is relative, and there are so many warm rusty-reddish brown tones (I think of "cinnamon" whenever I see it), that the "gray" really looks like sage. I'm sure you could use it if your palette had gray and no sage. Just STUNNING. My ugly kitchen is now GOING somewhere. Absolutely recommended.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very pleased with this rug. It is soft and I’m not using a rug pad underneath and it doesn’t slide on the hardwood floors. The rug came folded (which I prefer to rolled). I did place books temporarily on one corner that wasn’t quite flat. Colors are as seen with the exception of the gray. To my and my husband’s eyes it has a blue hue/tone to it. Not enough to return it. The browns are brown, tans-tan, black-black. The overall background color is a soft beige. It is in a high traffic area, hope it holds up well. I have trouble picking out rugs, especially online, I am extremely happy with this find.
I am always satisfied with rugsusa products.

The colors are pretty and as advertised, but it is not high quality and it curls at the corners no matter how much time has been spent leaving it upside down to take shape. The backing is very cheap as well. It’ll do for now until I find something more permanent.

It arrived without any damage and did not have any unpleasant smell or off fading. The rug, a 9’x 12’ was slightly larger than 12’ in length, but still worked within my space. It did not have any wrinkles or up turned edges. It is soft and feels good under foot. I did not purchase a pad, but May to add extra cushiness. Love the colors and overall look of this one. This is my first purchase from here, and I wouldn’t hesitate to do it again as the need arises.
