Solid stool
I bought these for a high bar. The stools are not too tall or short. Just right. If they were any higher I'd be concerned about how easily anyone could get up and down from them. I'm tall and still prefer to step up on the crossbraces. This is a solid, comfortable, and heavy piece of furniture.

Love these counter stools
These stools are the perfect heights, weight and shape for our kitchen island. The wood grain on the seat is rustic and exactly what I was looking for. The stools are solid yet light enough to easily move around. They are comfortable when seated traditional or saddling the seat. These are the favorite place for family to sit while I\'m cooking in the kitchen. I am very happy with this purchase.

Hardy set of stools
A few screws to be installed and then you have really heavy-duty bar stools! We were very pleased with quality of the seat- it is large enough in circumference even for larger individuals, without sacrificing comfort.

Rough seat
If you want a smooth seat, this isn't it. Rough areas that will cause damage to certain types of fabric. We are sanding seat area and reapplying stain and sealer. Didn't return because we need them NOW for an event. Fortunately we are equipped to handle the job. Otherwise,nice steady stool with a great rustic look! That's why only 3 stars.

Nice for the money
These bar stools are so good. I\'ve been looking for sturdy but stylish bar stools, and these high stools are awesome! I\'m glad I found these. I love that I can comfortably sit cross-legged, they save space and are sturdy! It\'s easy to assemble, the wood is strong, the chairs are strong. It has a beautiful surface and even a piece of metal on the foot to protect the wood, which is definitely worth the money. Sturdy, the seat is the right size.
