FIRE HAZARD
got this for my kids for Christmas, so just over 2mo ago. it worked fine, though we did have to "jump start" it (the disks wouldnt spin from standstill, we'd have to spin it and then close the top for it to catch and read). a little annoying, but whatever. sounds quality was great, picture looked good, it was an overall win...until tonight when the boys went to put on a movie and all of a sudden smoke literally comes blowing out of the speakers ??? thankfully my husband was with them! he immediately unplugged it and removed it from their room. I am so beyond upset. what if this happened when we weren't in the room? or after theyd fallen asleep?? ughh. this was such a cool find, but also a major letdown.. and ofc our return window is now closed - reaching out to the company tm, hoping they make this right

Randomly turned off when first bought, assumed it was a glitch and would restart and it would run fine. Didn’t use it for a while and now it doesn’t turn on at all. Also they sent me the wrong color and I just went with it bc I didn’t want to mess with a return or exchange

Big disappointment, Ended up returning
Got the turquoise version. Right out the box the color was more teal than expected. Still very cute. Sounded great on radio. Nice and loud. But on DVD the sound was skipping every few words. Figured maybe it was just a dirty DVD but when I switched to Roku it was doing the same thing :( Also the hatch for the DVD section didn't feel like it would last when I pushed to open. The last straw for me was the video quality when using Roku was so dark I literally could not see some menu options and things when trying to navigate. Just not going to work for me seeing as the video portion was the biggest draw for me. So I give 2 stars for cute idea, and the sound level was great. But minus 3 stars for video quality, skipping audio, and not very sturdy feeling build.

Faulty DVD player
Bought this as a gift, sound quality on the cd player is great, picture quality is fantastic, but the dvd player does not work. The video quality is great but the sound playback constantly fluctuates in and out. We tried brand new dvd’s and tried and true old ones, volume up, volume down, stereo, mono, bass boost on, bass boost off - and every single one had problems with the sound constantly stuttering. Unfortunately this item is from a third party seller so Target cannot do exchanges. I was told I will need to return the item and repurchase this but the price has now gone up to $160 and because this is a third-party item they cannot honor the $99 price I paid. Keep this in mind if you are looking at this boombox, as it is a gamble.

Good sound and picture
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are really enjoying using this Boombox. It is lightweight yet heavy duty. It easily picks up FM stations with good sound. We broke out our old CD's and they sound great. I've been wanting a TV in my kitchen for when I'm baking or cooking but don't really have a place for it. This is my answer. I connected to wifi and plugged in a spare Firestick. I'm now able to watch anything I want while I'm in the kitchen. When I'm done I put it in the closet out of the way. Im impressed with the picture quality. The picture is clear with great colors. We have also used it outside above the hot tub to watch football while we relax. The compact size means we can bring it along anywhere we go!

I got this for my brother to use in his garage to watch and listen to basketball or football games while he’s out there working. It was easy to connect to a Roku stick and WiFi. It also did great at picking up radio stations if he just wants to listen to music. Highly recommend this boombox! It’s a great gift!

You can play CD's, DVD's, FM radio and I absolutely LOVE that we can pull the Roku or Fire Stick from our tvs and take them on the go and watch our favorite shows on the go. The picture is clear on the screen and impressive quality. This boombox also offers Bluetooth wireless, USB playback, Aux-in jack, and HDMI input. The only thing about the Bluetooth, is you can only use it to play music. You can't use it to listen to music using Bluetooth headphones. It can run on batteries or via being plugged in, also comes with a handy remote.

No easy headphone hookup
Love the saturated teal color and that I can pop in old school DVDs into this to watch or CDs to listen to (I am Gen X). However I assumed you’d be able to use headphones with this _which is why I got it _ but you can’t — the jacks are not for headphones, the USB port is an input as is the Bluetooth. The only way I will be able to use this as intended is if I find a converter for two jack stereo out to enable you to plug into wired headphones. Still it’s a pretty cool device — 2024 y’all! 😂
