These are sturdy, they hold great and don't slip. I have medium to thick hair and work great for me. The only reason I have to repurchase is because they get lost.

I PURCHASED 2 SETS OF THESE CLIPS. I USE TO USE CLIPS FROM FRANCE AND THEY WERE GREAT. THE COMPANY DISSOLVED AND I HAVE BEEN LOOKIN FOR CLIPS TO HOLD MY THINNER HAIR BACK. THE MEDIUM IN THESE CLIPS HAS THE CLAW WITH TEETH CLOSE TOGETHER WHICH REALLY MAKES THEM TIGHT ENOUGH TO HOLD THINNER HAIR. THE ONLY COMPLAINT THAT I HAVE IS THAT I WISH THEY CAME IN MORE COLORS AND NOT MAT, BUT IT IS OK THEY FUNCTION GREAT. I PURCHASED MINE FROM ULTA AND THEY WERE AN AWESOME PRICE.

These medium size clips claw type really grip well and stay put in my straight hair. I bought the large size, which is good for more hair, but I have lost hair as I got older and needed something a little smaller. Great price for the 2 pack. I like the way they have a little curve that fits my head, very comfortable.

I wear hair clips every day and often twist and pile my hair on top of my head. My hair is pretty thick (asian hair) and these clips are strong and can hold quite a bit. And I love the flat claw so they don't dig into my head. I also ordered another style of clip (octopus) just in case these didn't hold my hair or wasn't strong enough but these work really well.

I'll be the first to admit that I am very picky about hair clips because my scalp is so sensitive. I am prone to headaches and the really pointy claw clips dig into my scalp. I end up having to take them out.I'm always looking for something better. I stumbled across these and some other clips that have bling on them but noticed that they had less pointy claws. I bought this set and one of the decorative ones. I'm in love with all three! This set is perfect! I was worried that they would slip out of my hair but they stayed without any discomfort. For reference, I have long, fine hair. It's literally perfect for my hair. If you have really heavy and/or thick hair, these may work for half up styles. But you'll likely be unable to cram all your hair into one of these clips.I'm literally leaving this review and going to order a few more sets!

I have very thick hair and have had a hard time finding claw clips that hold. All of the clips from this brand are great.
