Sweet and spicy Korean bbq sauce
This is a very tasty sweet and spicy sauce. It tastes high quality, and is not watery. The first ingredient is Gochujang, so expect to get hit with the spice before the sweet. This sauce is definitely on the salty side, and for me, a little went a long way when I used it on some grilled chicken. A serving has a lot of sugar and salt, so if you’re watching your diet, use sparingly. I would repurchase. I received an incentive to write this review.

Pretty decent Asian offering at target
This is pretty good sauce and it comes in a convenient squeeze bottle. I had with my air fryer chicken wing and it was very flavorful and is thick. I think this would be really good mixed in a bulgolgi bowl or with lettuce wraps. Overall I think it is a good buy and it is nice that it is offered at target something that you might need but can easily get on a target run. I would buy this again but maybe if it was on sale. Great balanced taste, not spicy
This sauce is great. We used it to make a homemade bulgogi beef. About half a bottle was used, along with soy sauce for this large wok. It worked great on the beef and onion. A very balanced savory taste with the right amount of sweetness that is not out of line. Would recommend this sauce if you’re interested in an easy Korean dish. The nozzle design is easy to use too. Salty, strong soy sauce smell and taste
I was really looking forward to this but it was not my favorite at all. The sauce is very thin, so I had to put it on the chicken twice to get it to stick on. As soon as you open it, it smells like soy sauce. The soy sauce is so strong that this is mostly what you taste. I am not sure where the barbecue taste was but I did not test any at all. It was a bit salty for me as well. If you know what to expect then it is not bad. I received an incentive to write this review.

Not sweet, but very very SPICEY
I don’t think I would call this sweet at all. It is infact very, very spicy. Just a little on my tongue and it started tingling. I had to drink some milk after my meal to calm it down. The flavor and quality was good especially with my vegetable dumplings. It’s also an excellent value as you get a big bottle and you need to use very little. I feel like this bottle will last forever. I received an incentive to write this review.

Strong flavor, strange texture
I love this brand, so I was very excited to try out this sauce for the first time! It is a nice thick sauce, and I thought it would be perfect to add some spice to a plain steak sandwich. It has a ton of flavor, but honestly, it was too much for me. It is strongly reminiscent of hoisin in flavor. The texture was also not appealing to me, as it is slightly gritty. I'm wondering if it will be better as a cooked stir fry sauce, because as a condiment, this was a fail for me. I received an incentive to write this review.

Sweet and mild spicy seasoning
Momofuku sweet and spicy Korean bbq is a game changer. It’s sweet, savory, and perfectly yum. I love it stir fries on meat, but honestly my favorite way to enjoy it is just drizzled over warm rice and eat it with some grilled or rotisserie chicken or other type of meat. It’s super simple, bold and addictive. Fyi: this seasoning sweet and spicy is super mild and my kids can even eat it. I received an incentive to write this review.

Sweet
I really liked the Sweet & Savory sauce from this brand so decided to try their Sweet & Spicy- it was okay. While I am fine with a decent amount of spice- the taste just wasn’t there for me. It didn’t have nearly as much umami flavor and wasn’t as many “notes” as the other. We used it as primarily a topping and tried it both mixed in and strictly drizzled on top and it was lacking body. I won’t buy again. I received an incentive to write this review.

This is good but not what I expected
This is shelf stable prior to opening. It came sealed well. I have no concerns for quality or freshness. This isn't as sweet as I thought it would be for a Korean BBQ sauce. It reminds more more of a stir fry sauce. It is not spicy even though it says that on the packaging. This would be a good sauce for meat or I feel that you could use this as a stir fry sauce with a few other seasonings. It's good I received an incentive to write this review.

Sweet and spicy sauce is great
This sauce was delicious! We used it with ground beef and green peppers over rice and it was very tasty. It had a bit of kick to it that really gave the ground beef a good flavor. With only 6 grams of added sugar it is really a healthy way to flavor the bland taste of ground beef and make a yummy bowl. The packaging was easy to use with a squirt nozzle, no spoon needed or lid to take off. I received an incentive to write this review.

More for marinade than for dip but still tasty
Tried this Korean BBQ sauce as a dipping sauce due to be curious how bbq style it could be, and while it wasn’t quite what we expected, it was still good. It has a strong soy sauce flavor with a bit of sweetness and a mild kick. Since it leans more towards typical Asian food flavor, I think it would really shine in a rice bowl with salmon or shrimp, or even tossed into noodles. I received an incentive to write this review.

Delicious Sweet
The Momofuku Sweet and Spicy sauce is awesome! I am very sensitive when it comes to heat/spice and this isn’t overly spicy for me at all. I love the tang and the umami it brings to any dish. It has the texture and thickness of a hoisin sauce and has a siracha kind of kick to it. So far I’ve tried it as a sauce topper but I can see how this will be really tasty as a marinade. Overall super happy with a quick sauce that brings a lot of flavor to any dish! I received an incentive to write this review.

Momofuku Sweet and spicy BBQ sauce.
This is a great tasting sauce. It has a little spice to it without being too spicy. I would definitely say it is more savory than sweet. It would make for a great addition to a beef or pork dish. I wouldn't recommend using it on a chicken dish. It would be a fun addition to a fondue party. It is a good sauce for the price. I would describe it as tasting like a combination of Hoisin sauce mixed with Sriracha. I received an incentive to write this review.

Wow! The BEST Korean BBQ sauce ever!
I recently discovered what has quickly become my go-to-sauce. Both as a flavorful dipping companion and a stand out barbecue essential. This Korean sweet-and-spicy barbecue sauce offers a perfect balance of slightly sweet and savory depth, while making it incredibly versatile. Besides being a traditional barbecue sauce, I found it to be an excellent ingredient to dressings as well. When mixed with rice vinegar and sesame oil, it makes vibrant, Korean cucumber salad That was full of bold flavors. As grilling season is upon us, I highly recommend that you go pick up a bottle of the exceptional sauce. It’s dynamic flavor is sure to delight and impress your guests, adding a unique and flavorful twist to any cookout. I received an incentive to write this review.

Korean BBQ sauce with a kick
The Korean bbq stir fry sauce was great for our meal prep! I put it over veggies and chicken to marinade. Once it was sauted I served it over rice. The flavor was incredible. I enjoy spice so it was great for me. My children do not like spice so it is not great for family meals as it was two spicy for the children. The sauce is very thin so worked well being served over rice. I received an incentive to write this review.

Great Multi Use BBQ Sauce
Overall the quality of this bbq sauce is amazing! I recently used it on pulled pork to make bbq sandwiches and it had such a good flavor! I love that it adds a different more unique taste than traditional bbq sauce on pulled porked sandwiches. As you can see in the pictures it has more of a thin texture than a real thick sauce. I really can’t wait to try it out as a marinade on beef tips. Great multi use sauce with a sweet kick! I received an incentive to write this review.

Not your typical BBQ sauce
My family and I tried the Momofuku Sweet & Spicy Korean BBQ Sauce recently, and it’s definitely not your typical super sugary bbq sauce. It has a nice balance of tangy and sweet with a medium heat that gives it a kick without being overpowering. The sauce itself is on the thinner side, which actually worked really well for what we used it for. We made a simple stir fry and drizzled some over the top. It turned out great! The flavors blended nicely with the vegetables and meat without drowning everything in sweetness. It seems like it would be good as a marinade for chicken or wings too. I’m looking forward to experimenting more with it. I received an incentive to write this review.

Tasty but overpriced for quality
This is a high quality, versatile sauce. It is thick in texture but spreads over dishes well. I like to put this on an array of dishes. It definetly has a bit of spice at the end but nothing too overpowering. There is definitely a strong gochujang flavor but it’s balanced out with other flavors. This is great for chicken, rice, noodles, etc. I’m not sure if I will buy again just because of the price point. I received an incentive to write this review.

Delicious with chicken but a little expensive
I love trying new sauces/marinades and my husband loves grilling so was excited to try this Korean bbq sauce, first I tried it on its own then we cooked some chicken thighs on the grill and smothered them in this sauce, they were delicious, I do want to try this with some type of ground turkey dish I think the flavors would actually resemble more of a Korean bbq dish which is usually a little more salty/ savory to me, this is great but definitely too expensive for me to keep purchasing unless it’s on sale I received an incentive to write this review.
