The lighting fixture itself is beautiful. The reason for the harsh three rating is because of installation. I am a homeowner and have installed several lighting and ceiling fan fixtures without a problem. In this case, the mounting bracket did not line up with the box in the wall, to where the lighting fixture would be in the correct position. I tried several things without any luck. I finally had to hire an electrician. He was unable to install without punching out a new hole on the mounting plate. this shouldn’t have been so difficult. The other challenge was the size of the hall to run the wires through. It is very small and off-center. All in all, I would suggest using an electrician unless you have the skills to create new holes in the metal mounting plate once done it’s a great looking fixture If I had thought about it, I would have taken a pic of the okate after it was modified
