My two Blue Heelers love this product! We live in Minnesota and winters tend to be harder on their skin. A great supplement for kitties!
My 2 cats have both had health issues since the day they were adopted due to poor care by their previous owners. I've always admired Kazie's beautiful black toes, but this past winter I noticed they were looking more like shriveled raisins than shiny beans. And my poor Fitz had a couple of infections in his nail beds due to the irritation of super dry skin. I read that a supplement with omega fatty acids could be beneficial, so purchased Zesty Paws Salmon Oil, and saw a marked improvement after about 3 weeks. Both kitties' skin issues cleared up, and Kazie's digestive issues even improved. The cats only liked the taste of the oil for the first 3 days, then wouldn't eat it voluntarily. I started using an oral syringe, and just squirt it right into their mouths once a day. It's easier to measure out that way than with a spoon anyways. I highly suggest you try that method. The dosage is 1 tsp for a 10 lb cat which equals 1.23 ml. Keep the syringe in a baggie or bottle in the fridge with the bottle of oil. Just wipe it down really well after using and you can re-use one syringe for about 3 weeks. (3 ml oral syringes are cheap in bulk on Amazon). If you have a squirmy cat, take them into the bathroom for med time and wrap in a towel purrito-style if neccessary. They'll get used to it, and it'll become a normal thing to them in a couple weeks. The only downside is that between just 2 cats, I'm never able to finish a whole 8 oz bottle within the 60 day period before it expires. If your cats have any skin issues, itchiness, allergies or digestive issues this product could be really beneficial to them. Start with the full dose, but watch carefully for the first week to insure they don't have any bad reactions, like diarrhea.

It stinks and my cats wouldnt touch it
I’m used to feeding my cats some stinky wet food that smells fishy. But this won’t is really pungent and it feels like it’s sticking to the inside of your nose. Not to mention, my cats hated it. They ate around their food so they wouldn’t eat it. I thought they’d like . I’m sure others cats would like it but my babies didn’t.

Great Product, less dry skin
Both my dogs had dry skin, and the Salmon Oil eliminated it. The Greyhound does not itch constantly, and the English Pointer Mix also itches less and does not get the nasty oily Seborrhea in his neck/chest skin folds. They love it on their dry food and a drop or two in the water (I do not use it constantly in the water, because they drink too much if I do). The squirt pump helps with determining the proper amount.
