- How to Use
- Step 1. With slightly damp hair, take a section of hair & start rolling up from the end upwards toward scalp. Tuck hair securely so that the ends of your hair do not stick out. Step 2. Roll upwards until taught against scalp & then bend the ends of the roller to secure it in place.
- Step 3. Continue this process with the next roller until all rollers are in place & secure.
- Step 4. Wear overnight or allow hair to fully dry. Remove & style to enjoy beautiful heatless curls!
- PRO TIP: The smaller the sections, the tighter the curls. Depending on hair length and thickness, you may want to consider multiple sets of Satin-Wrapped Flexi Rods.

A: Our Satin Flexi Rods are not recommended for machine wash/dryer. For best care, we recommend hand-washing them in cold water and air drying only. Please avoid wringing or using bleach, as these can damage the material.

A: Technique: While wrapping the hair around the rod, make sure to twist it tightly and ensure that the ends are securely tucked in. This helps prevent the hair from slipping down the rod. Secure with Clips: If the rods slip, secure them in place with flat-lay claw clips or bobby pins at the base. Use a Scarf, Sleep Cap or Bonnet: Wearing a silk or satin scarf or bonnet over the rods while sleeping can help keep them in place, especially if you plan to keep them overnight. Avoid Overloading Products: Using too many heavy products can weigh down thin hair and cause the rods to slip. Stick to lightweight products specifically designed for thin or fine hair. Kindly note that creating heatless curls with flexi-rods can be a trial-and-error process, especially with shorter hair. Keep experimenting to find the perfect technique for your unique hair. :)

I have the long satin rod that u clip on the top of your head and then work both sides around the satin rod & these and both are amazing! I’m going to buy a 2nd 6 pack only because I want my hair distributed evenly amongst the rods. Such fun curls, I prefer these over that longer satin rod, but that’s just me. Some things to be aware of… 1-make sure u use these on DAMPish hair, not soaking wet hair. It makes a difference on drying time. 2-time can be ur best friend here or worst enemy. I say this because u want to give yourself enough time to let your hair completely dry with the rods in. I like to spray hair perfume, or any perfume mist on the rods before putting them in my hair, gives my hair a little extra something nice :) enjoy!!!! -also grab some satin scrunchies, they are ur best friends with kitsch’s rods :)

Easy to use and comfortable to sleep in! I also used a satin cap over the satin rods. It kept them in place while I slept. I never used anything like this before, so I wasn’t expecting much. Took them out the next morning to find my hair had actually curled. Not as good as a curling iron, but it helped speed up my morning routine.

So I have wanted to try these forever and finally took the dive! Easy to put in your hair and I have fine hair, but not comfortable at all to sleep in so unless you are using them when you are awake and plan on having them in your hair all day for a night out then just seems like a waste of money. Not even sure if they would work since I couldn’t sleep in them.

Honestly they could easily be fabulous by adding a sturdy snap at the ends - but as they stand they are just meh! I cannot sleep in them without losing at least one during the night and they flop around a lot. I use them occasionally to ‘set’ my curls after I curl my hair with the flat iron. I have to wrap my head/hair with a scarf to keep them in place while I get ready.
Not good for fine shoulder length hair.

Couldn’t get my hair to neatly wrap around the rods, once they were wrapped I couldn’t get them to stay in place. They slipped right off of my hair. I know satin is good for hair but it’s to slippery if a material for fine/smooth hair- there’s nothing for the hair to grip

Couldn't figure out how to make them stay in once rolled up and latched. Hair slipped right out & would not stay. It's not the same as a flexi rod. It doesn't keep bend to stay locked in hair. Better off getting flexi rods. Would not recommend.

My hair is layered and most of it did not stay on the rods no matter how I twisted it or the rod. The only part that did curl were my bangs and the effect was so minimal that I might as well have just used a blow dryer with a hair brush.
