This planter with a trellis is a popular choice among guests for growing a variety of vegetables, especially tomatoes and cucumbers. Its self-watering feature and mobility make it ideal for small spaces like patios and decks. While many guests appreciate its durability and ease of assembly, some have noted that the trellis can be flimsy and challenging to put together. Overall, it offers a great solution for urban gardening enthusiasts looking to maximize their growing potential.

I bought 1 and planted a grape tomato plant I bought in a hanging basket. It took off and produced dozens of tomatoes. I love that it doesn't have to be watered everyday, it can be moved, both are important for gardening in Texas. I bought 3 more and will have a nice little easy to care for veggie garden next year.

I had to order this twice - the first one showed up with the side cracked off of it. The 2nd one cracked on the side when I installed their flimsy trellis. Two hours later and I still can't figure out how to install the black mat for the water retainer. The instructions were muddled and difficult to read. Guess you get what you paid for on this one unfortunately.

I am looking forward to using it On the patio. It’s a sturdy container and I like that it has a reservoir for self watering. It took a while to assemble the trellis but it’s together.

The sticker is extremely hard to remove, once it is, it leaves a miserable glue residue that I found impossible to remove. Tried everything. Will be using it with the sticky glue remaining.
Sturdy veggie box but crummy watering system

I purchased 2 of the vegetable planters with wheels and trellis. The good part: I like the depth for planting tomatoes. It is a little deeper than the Earth Box or Grow Box. The trellis is a little flimsy, but I am going to try it with my cucumbers. The bad part: The watering hole at the bottom is very low, and there is no wide lip like on the Grow Box, so you can't see the water level unless you get down on your knees and put your finger into the water. Not user friendly for elderly folk. It would be better if they would just design it with a tube coming out of the top. But the box appears sturdy, and I like the wheel feature.

I bought my first one of these about 5 years ago. Since then, I have added 5 more to my deck garden. I even bought one for my dad and one for my son, so they could start their gardening journey. Would you believe that I grew enough green beans in one of these to not only have enough for several dinners during the summer, but to also can one jar? It tasted so good, when we opened it recently to eat.

Trellis is not sturdy. I planted two tomato plants in here, and the weight of the plants bent and warped the trellis. Also, as far as being self watering, there would be water in the bottom and my plants will be wilted on top... so I don't understand what was going on there..

I bought this product many years ago (perhaps 8-10 years) and just bought another to replace it due to cracking in Minnesota weather. Cheaper than similar products at local nurseries.

Really made it easier to grow tomatoes. Plenty deep enough. Heavy when full but that's ok. Tomatoes are growing fast and healthy
