I put together much faster than I expected. The wood grain is beautiful, and gives the whole piece a warm, high‑quality feel. It’s sturdy, well‑made, and looks far more expensive than it is. I’m impressed with the craftsmanship and would absolutely buy it again. The only downside is that this is not hardwood and will not be ding resistant.

    TERRIBLE BED FRAME DO NOT BUY

    This is the worst bed frame we have ever purchased. The middle wooden vertical slates that support the middle of the bed underneath are not the same height of the bed frame and it does not support the middle of the bed at all! The bed slopes in the middle and my husband and I have had terrible back aches since we bought this bed frame. We got replacement parts, but they are still not the same height as the bed frame! I have emailed and left a voicemail for a refund, but I have not heard back from the company yet. I'm not sure where these 5 star reviews are coming from because this bed frame is so cheap. I would give this 0 stars if I could. DO NOT BUY THIS BED FRAME.

    Would Not Recommend

    This is the worst furniture purchase I've ever made. The stain of the wood was much darker than shown on the website and the feeling was sandy and color uneven. I've only had the bed for about 5 months and just disassembled it because the support pieces were mis-sized and ended up completely coming off of the middle metal support (screws wouldn't stay in) and there were too few slats to support my mattress and ended up making for a progressively terrible sleeping experience.

    New bed who dis?

    We love our new bed frame! I shopped many places before selecting this frame from plank & beam. I even purchased (and promptly returned) two from other retailers. This is beautiful, solid, and easy to assemble. We have tested it's sturdiness and there is some squeaking but not too much.

    Disappointed.

    The stain on the bed frame and nightstands rubbed right off with a paper towel. P&B claims all the furniture has a lacquer finish, but there is no lacquer on the furniture I was sent. Very disappointed. I'd return it if that didn't mean I'd have to disassemble it and figure out a way to ship it.

    Solid wood headboard

    Excellent Quality! My son, talked me into ordering headboard for my mountain house. We both liked it. I liked the color & seems to be very sturdy & solid. Thinking of ordering nightstand to match. It takes a couple of weeks to receive, but it's worth it!

    Ordered a queen size, rustic style frame. Shipping: Delivery took about 4 weeks from the time I ordered, which was a bit longer than expected but nothing too concerning for furniture these days. Appearance: After unpacking the (single box) to set everything up, the color of the wood and finish quality looked a lot darker and more muted than the photos on the site. This was a pretty notable departure from what we expected and so not for us. Quality: While the wood quality and hardware seems great, we decided to return this before going through with the assembly. Support: Everyone we connected with has been friendly but it's a slow process. Currently 7 or 8 days of waiting on a reply about a return. Certainly seems better than Ikea style stuff and perhaps stick to the basic style?

    Outstanding Purchase

    I ordered this bed to replace a twin iron bed and hoped it would be sturdy enough to withstand company and reasonably attractive. It arrived quickly, all parts were included and instructions were perfect. It is a gorgeous bed, well made, far more sturdy than I had expected and extremely reasonable. I am thrilled with the quality and my purchase. It puts the little twin bed to shame.

    Great chic bed frame easy to assemble sturdy!

    We love the modern look of this bed platform for our country lodge - it was easy to assemble with very sturdy parts. Looks absolutely fantastic with the bed made and is very comfortable. No squeaking or moving of while sleeping. We like it so much we hope to get another one for our town apartment.
