Doughy Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough - 6oz

The consistency is not like cookie dough at all, very oily/greasy. We tried baking as well, but the taste is VERY heavy with cashew. We’ve had other vegan and gluten-free brands that are much more similar to non-vegan cookies. These are not it. We won’t purchase these again unless they reformulate.

Taste wise is pretty good, I do wish it was a hair sweeter with maybe some brown sugar. Texture wise is good, I anticipated grainy and glad it wasn’t! It’s definitely thick which I like, but maybe a hair too thick. I’m definitely going to try and bake it and see what happens! I received an incentive to write this review.

I was pleasantly surprised to see a different type of ingredient list for this type of snack. I ate it as raw cookie dough. I have not cooked it yet which I’m excited to try. The battery is not too sweet, but it is quite rich and the chocolate is perfect. Sometimes you just need the taste of a cookie in your mouth and you can’t really wait for it to bake so this is the perfect pick me up after work or the gym or when you’re just having a bad night and you want some comfort. I am confused by the positive reviews because this is the greasiest and most stale tasting special diet friendly cookie dough I’ve tried. It’s rather foul tasting raw, so I tried baking it to see if the flavor improved, but it still tasted old. I’m not sure if the cashews were rancid when this was made, but that was a waste of $6.

I like that this is light and easy to eat. I would recommend this to someone that is looking for a delicious chocolate snack. I would avoid this brand like the plague. It's the most expensive stuff on the market and tastes the worst. I've never hated a freshly baked cookie until I tried this. The texture is like glue, the after taste is disgusting, and it's worse raw. We need to stop settling for disgusting products just because we have limited options - Fellow Celiac

The best cookie dough! Tastes like the real thing

I liked the flavoring, especially for the minimal ingredients used but the consistency was slightly off from what I would consider cookie dough. This chocolate chip cookie dough can be enjoyed raw or can be baked into cookies. It is gluten free, dairy free, and grain free. I purchased this because my family is participating in Whole30 this month and can't have gluten, dairy, grains, or added sugar. But, we wanted to enjoy a little treat so I got this. It's made with simple and clean ingredients like cashews, organic maple syrup, vanilla extract, salt, baking soda, and organic chocolate chips. The dough is not overly sweet and almost has a little bit of spice to it. I can't taste the cashews, but if you have a nut allergy then I don't recommend this. We ate the dough raw, just made cookie dough balls. They were yummy! A little bit was enough to satisfy my sweet tooth. My only complaint is that it is a little pricey. The container was not even filled to the top so I feel like we got ripped off a little bit. Otherwise, it's a yummy product. I received an incentive to write this review.

When cooked they had an almond flavored after taste that I didn’t love but my husband enjoyed. They had a nice chewy texture when cookies. Taste sooo good. So close to real raw cookie dough

I have a dairy intolerance, and I have tasted a lot of allergy products - this one is pretty good! I was a little disappointed in the size, it was very small. You can either bake or eat raw - if you baked this I think you would only get like 5 cookies! My daughter wanted to cook the dough but we only got 4 cookies out of it! The item does need to be refrigerated. The batter does make amazing cookies when baked but the best part is that you can eat the batter raw too. This batter also comes in different flavors so you can try other options too. Whether you eat it straight out of the container or baked as a cookie-I think it won’t disappoint. Even my husband commented on how amazing the cookies tasted!! The container was much smaller then I was expecting but overall would recommend! I ate a bite before baking-it was chewy and satisfying! I didn’t realize it was a gluten free treat until after I bought it. At first I didn’t love the taste, but once I bit into the chocolate chips, it tasted exactly like normal cookie dough. The texture is a bit odd looking, but I promise it tastes way better than it looks! It is a bit pricier than what I would have expected for something of this size. It’s a cup of cookie dough and ended up being a lot smaller in person than what appeared in the advertisement. Nonetheless, it was good cookie dough. I wouldn’t say great or delicious because I’ve definitely had better but for an edible cookie dough it was good. Literally delicious. I got this one and the peanut butter one and both are sooo good. I like warming up the PB one with a few chocolate chips.
