Actual Veggies Frozen Purple Potato Super Fries - 14oz

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Popped them in the air fryer, and they were really easy to make. Turned out crispy on the outside, but I feel like the outside dried out a bit. I was also a bit thrown off by the added veggie bits texturally - was not expecting that nor was it clear from the packaging. Regardless, I was happy with my snack. Overall a great choice if you want to eat healthier!

He loved the purple ones and was hesitant about the orange sweet potatoes because he does not like orange sweet potatoes but to our surprise he liked those just as much. I love how you are getting the complex carbs from the actual potato with an added benefit if some veggies and extra fiber.

But I am also trying to eat healthy, and even though potatoes are veggies, they do not really qualify as a healthy vegetable per se. So, what is one to do when you want your cake and eat it, too? You reach for Super Fries from Actual Veggies. As the name suggests, they are actual veggies and they are yum! They contain no fillers or preservatives and are made only with recognizable ingredients like - uh, veggies! I tried the Purple Sweet Potato Fries, and - I am sold! They are crispy, easy to make, and are a lot closer to 'guilt-free' than actual fries. Extra bonus: they look so much more fun on your plate. Also, they contain added protein, which, for me, is awesome since I am always on the hunt for protein products. You can throw them in your oven or your airfryer, add some ketchup or whatever you like, and you are good to go. I have yet to try the Sweet Potato and the Classic Potato, but I am seriously loving the Purple Potato Fries.

Made with purple sweet potatoes (beautiful to the eye), cauliflower (nutritious), and chickpeas (protein-packed), they taste high on the healthy scale. I air-fried them for a nice, crunchy outer texture, but they remained fluffy inside. These are a must-have staple to my freezer.

I really like the crispiness and the softness of the fries. But, I also like very crispy fries so I would love if they would get just a little more crispy. Overall, very good. The price is a little high, but on occasion I would buy these.

Great source of protein, fiber and incredibly clean ingredients and added veggies for even better for you French fries. I cooked them in the air fryer and were very crispy. Would buy these again if on sale because i think they were pricey.

While it’s great they are low in sugar, it was unexpected. They were also much chunkier than I had in mind, more like a large steak fry. Flavor was just okay but I do acknowledge and appreciate they snuck veggies in. Ultimately I would not go out of my way to purchase this flavor again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These tasted good. They were convenient to throw in the air fryer and didn't need additional oil to crisp up nicely. Texture isnt what I was expecting though. They remind me of hashbrown patties that have been cut up into a fry shape.

This ingredients are simple and clean. Baking them in the oven cuts the unnecessary fats from frying. My kids like eating these.

I thoughts I could pass one by my kids to get them to eat healthier fries but the beans are very obvious and not blended enough

I purchased the purple sweet potato variety and at first sight, I wasn’t sure how they would taste or what the texture would be like as the fries were not the most appealing. They turned out to be crispy and highly flavorful, with each veggie addition complementing the purple sweet potatoes. I couldn’t get enough of them! I highly recommend and will add this product to my grocery shopping list for my household as it is also gluten free.

Unfortunately the amount of sweet potato is so small you can’t even taste it. In fact you can’t taste much of anything as this is blended with too many things. Definitely has to be eaten with some seasoning or dip.
