Smashed together by wild monkeys the glass is loose too small for the frame, there’s a gauge in the front next to the latch, where the hinges are was shredded apart and then where half the grid pieces connect are either shredded wood, gaps and ugly blobs of glue. Not a drop of integrity to the way this is made. I bought THREE and not one looks decent up close. They all look cute from across a room but come within a few feet and see it’s a total piece of crap smashed together with glue and someone who doesn’t understand how to attach hardware to save their life. Everything is dented, there’s wood splintering off all over, the glass shifts side to side. It doesn’t even shut straight. Trash.

It is a great little trinket box, we have put our collected stones to display in here. The hinges are not the best quality though and I have had to hammer it back in. Works fine for decor but definitely for display only and not something my kids can use as they would easily break the hardware.

Visually beautiful, lacking in quality
I don’t think this is worth what it costs based on quality; some of the boxes in the store were already damaged at the clasp part but if you buy in store you can make sure you get one that isn’t messed up. Besides the quality issue it’s a very pretty box and I like the way it looks with my seashells in it

Who is getting SCAMMED?
I needed 8 of these but bought over 24 across multiple Target locations to find just 6 decent ones. For $35 each, the quality is unacceptable—clearly not handmade with care. Most have holes and defects patched with putty, looking cheap and sloppy all around the boxes. See photos for examples of the shoddy repairs. I could only keep 6. Extremely disappointing for the price. These were made in India.

In serious need of a brand quality check
The craftsmanship and quality on these boxes really is the worst. The hinges are not lined up so the lid does not square up with the box. The front hinge is crooked (or broken off completely, I purchased 2), so you have to use pliers to get it open. The seams on the interior cross hatching has exposed glue, the seams are uneven, there are gaps. And the glass on the lid is not secure. It has tabs similar to a picture frame and on my brand new box still in factory packaging they were all left half open and the glass almost fell out and shattered. I was purchasing hoping to make some heirloom boxes for Christmas next year and will be doing something different.

I have had 6, I kept 1. The interior glass isn't attached, the closures hinge is missing.
Not worth the price, the glass comes having not been put in place and has bounced around the entire travel time. Hinge for locking area bent or missing... if this was $15.00 it would have been a heck-of-a buy to then repair but alas, it is not.
