This desk is very basic but quite nice with a side table that adds space and fits in a corner. It's also reversible, which is nice although it's a huge pain to take completely apart and rebuild. It's very possible, however, to completely damage the desktop surface by either over-aggressively tightening screws or accidentally using the long screws instead of short ones in the wrong place. I did the latter when rebuilding to reverse the desk and it essentially ruined the desktop surface where the screw pushed on the mdf veneer finish. Bestier does not sell replacement parts so I'm left with a damaged desk that needs to be completely replaced.

Took me about a half hour to put together, but instructions were very clear, all parts were labeled, and everything fit together perfectly! Wonder of wonders! No I xtra tools needed. It came with an Allen wrench and another flat wrench looking thing. Solid wood pieces and sturdy metal. Also, it came really well packaged, so there was no damage.

The desk is great and works perfectly for what I needed it for. It was easy to assemble, so easy infact that I was able to assemble it durring a power outage in the dark with a head lamp in under Two hour. Its got lots of space for all my books when doing online classes, I can spread out multple heavy textbooks and notebooks across it.
