Frustrating. Poor seat quality.
After following directions and putting the seat and footrest at the appropriate height for my child, the buckle does not push into the seat naturally. With tons of force you can force it, however it is already warping the plastic buckle and the integrity is not there. It’s truly a matter of time until it breaks. This is insanely frustrating as this is the SAFETY feature and it is failing, hard. And for the price? Ridiculous.

The best high chair!
We bought the Stokke Tripp Trapp chair for our daughter and have been very happy with it. The quality is excellent, and the adjustable design makes it comfortable as she grows. It’s sturdy, easy to use, and fits nicely at the table so she can join family meals. Overall, it’s a great investment that combines practicality with a beautiful design.

Obsessed with this chair
I've been a Tripp Trapp fan for a long time and I'm SO excited that Target is carrying them now. My kids have used them since they were in the newborn attachement and now my oldest is 5 and still loving it. They hold up so well to the wear and tear of kid life and are so unbelievably easy to clean. They are so stable at all stages, starting with the baby seat and the extended legs for all the wiggling and lunging all the way through taking the baby seat off and letting them get in and out on their own. I'm obsessed with the upgraded harness buckles, making an amazing chair even better and the Wild Wood they have at Target is the most perfect neutral. I honestly can't recommend this chair enough. I would buy it again and again.

I love the Tripp Trapp high chair and how it truly grows with your child from day one. The newborn attachment is such a game changer! It gives me the perfect place to keep my baby right by my side in the kitchen and I love knowing it transitions seamlessly through the toddler years and into childhood. As a mom, the quality is what really sold me. You can instantly tell this is something built to last. It’s been trusted for decades, and it feels like one of those pieces that will be passed down again and again. It’s sturdy, beautifully made, and just makes everyday life feel a little easier. Bottom of tray is hard to clean
The bottom of the tray grows mold and has to be deep cleaned frequently. The bottom of the tray has a very very intricate design and hard to clean.

Not stoked for this stokke
This is a review mainly for Target. We purchased this expensive chair and were excited to receive it. However upon delivery we notice tape is open, and the shipping label stated that it is from a “returns center” meaning this item is not new. Contacted Target and they said we can return it and I also told them that I used my discount code on it, and they said they can’t return my discount code unless I bring it into their store for a replacement. Very inconvenient for an expectant mother. Very disappointed in Target.

Get the chair!! You will not regret it! I wish I had gotten it with my first 2 years ago, but so happy to have it for my toddler and newborn now. It will be with us for many years. So comfortable and safe. Love all of the color options, and you can not go wrong with its timeless design. It is an absolutely beautiful piece of furniture!!!

Mealtime Nostalgia!
We really love our Tripp Trapp. It’s become such a natural part of our everyday life. From sharing lunch with her big sister to sitting right up at the table like a big girl, it’s one of those things we use without even thinking about it. The design is beautiful, but even more than that, it just works. It grows with her, fits right into our home, and makes mealtime feel like family time every time.

Perfect for a newborn!
My 5 day old baby already loves his chair! We put him in it when we’re hanging out on the couch and want him nearby us. It’s super compact and comfy for him - he always seems content when snuggled in his chair. We also bring it to our dining room table so he can sit with us while we eat dinner. I’m so excited that this chair will grow with him. Can’t recommend it enough - the quality is incredible, it’s super sturdy and makes us feel like our baby is safe, and he is well supported and comfy.

Not user friendly to clean
I’ve been a nanny for over 30 years and have never encountered such a horrible high chair as this one. I gave it one star for looks and the attempt for multi purpose but it is a beast to try to take apart to clean and the buckles are stiff and bulky which seems uncomfortable for the baby.

Love love this high chair! It goes really nice with our decor and fits up right to our dining room table. We used it with our first child and now we are using it again with our second. We never had to buy a new one. It’s very durable and has been lasting us quite a few years.

We love our Tripp Trapp high chair so much for our toddler that we had to get another one for our newborn! The newborn bundle is awesome. it keeps our little one safe and cozy, and I love having them up at the table with the rest of the family. It makes mealtime so much easier and more fun. Totally worth it!

I love that the Tripp Trapp grows with your child so that we can get many years of use out of it. The Natural Oak wood is beautiful and very well made. It was easy to put together, too. I can't wait to use this when our baby arrives in a few months!

Been using the Stokke Tripp Trapp for a while now and honestly… it’s so good. Super solid, easy to clean, and looks so aesthetic in my kitchen. I love that my 3 month old can sit right at the table with us — it just makes meals feel more connected. And the fact that it grows with them? Feels like one of the few baby things that’s actually worth the investment. My 2 year old also loves sitting in his Tripp Trapp. So easy for him to get on and off on his own! Beautiful, functional, safe, and actually lasts.

So versatile!
We’ve loved our Stokke Tripp Trapp from the start! We used it as my son’s high chair from the time he was a baby, and now that he’s older, we’re still getting use out of it as a regular chair at the table. It’s incredibly versatile, grows with your child, and has such a clean, timeless look. Definitely worth the investment for something that lasts through so many stages!
