It has a thick texture and it's tangy and sweet. The container was easy to open and doesn't take up much space in the fridge. We want to like it but it may not be for our taste palette.

I never had Korean bbq before but it has become really popular. It can also be used on hamburgers, rice ribs and seafood. It is tangy and spicy. It is not your usual bbq sauce. I love the packaging as well. Heinz is a household name in my kitchen.

The sauce has a nice viscosity not too thin, and not too thick, really perfect for marinating or dipping. This sauce is a great way to add a Korean barbecue dish to a number of dishes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Today I'm sharing an honest review of the Heinz Flavor Tour Korean inspired sweet and tangy BBQ sauce it's one of three new flavors in the Heinz International flavored tour collection! The Collection consists of two other flavors Mexican inspired street corn and Thai inspired sweet chili. I chose the Korean flavor thinking it might be similar to Japanese barbecue sauce but it definitely had a strong vinegar-forward tang that surprised me I tried it over rice and it wasn't bad it just wasn't my favorite! What I did like was it had no artificial flavors or dyes. The spice level was a 4 out of 6 peppers! And it is a great idea to do a "Flavor Tour"! What I didn't like was the very overpowering vinegar tang! It is the first ingredient in the sauce. The packaging suggests using it on burgers, chicken, ribs and rice bowls. This might be a winner for someone else but I personally won't be purchasing it in the future. I may still try the Mexican inspired street corn or three Thai inspired sweet chili in the future!

I really appreciate that there are no artificial flavors or dyes. It makes me feel better about eating it. Lastly, I like the bottle it comes in. I just had to flip it open and squeeze out the right amount.
