Pros: Overall, the finished product looks just like the photos. So there's that. The LED light feature lights up nicely and has several options for colors/patterns. The instructions made sense and all the holes that needed to be predrilled were done so. All the pieces were there upon assembly, nothing came missing or incorrectly labeled. Cons: It is much smaller than i pictured (this is my mistake as I did not read product specifications and assumed it was a standard sized nightstand.) It came in about a million pieces (I consider myself a handy person and it still took 3 hours to assemble with a power drill). It looks cheap. It is cheap composite board and a lot of it chipped when I was trying to assemble it. None of it broke to the point of not being able to work, but it was a tedious process drilling into it to ensure it didn't fracture. Hand tightening was not an option since the particle board was so dry and hard. The plug for the LED set up was not compatible with our electrical outlet. It was a Type A plug and here in the US we use a type B one. Not the end of the world because we just switched it out for one we had laying around, but still I paid for one so I feel I have a right to it. The LED strip is not built into the product like I might have assumed it would be. Its just a strip with a sticky side that you adhere to the nightstand during part of the build process. Its still functional, but I could have purchased a much higher quality nightstand for this price and stuck my own LED light strip on it for a similar affect. Really if it came pre-assembled I may have rated it higher, but minimum wage is $20 an hour here, my labor alone on it was nearly as much as the product. With that logic, I should have paid about $20 for this because that's about what it looks like it's worth. Lastly--even though I ordered it on the Target website, target would not honor a promo code for it because it was being shipped from a third party vendor. Maybe all of this is a mistake, Target. Maybe stick to your own stuff and avoid this cheap overseas garbage that has no quality control.
