    Permanently ruined several shirts after one wear — do not recommend

    I was looking for a clean deodorant alternative and tried TONE based on the marketing. It applies smoothly with a pleasant scent and caused no burning or irritation on my skin. Unfortunately, that’s the only positive. Even with very light application, it left heavy oily/waxy residue that transferred to my shirts. Several of my shirts were permanently ruined after just one wear — the stains set in and wouldn’t come out even after washing. I only realized the full damage after doing a load of laundry. If you care about protecting your wardrobe, skip this one. It caused more staining than other natural deodorants I’ve tried (including the reformulated Native). Disappointing because the skin performance was fine, but the clothing destruction makes it unusable.

    Raw skin itchy rash armpits

    This is for Tone fresh mineral spring deodorant. I loved the smell but my armpits were very itchy and at first I thought it was from sweat so I kept using it but now I have rashes on both armpits. The skin is now red and raw and it darkened other areas of my armpits. I have never had this sort of reaction to any product and don't have sensitive skin or any known allergies. I thought for a $10 deodorant it would be high quality.

    Pleasantly surprised

    I bought it originally from the website to try it out when it first launched. I was pleasantly surprised by the scent and its performance, because I do suffer from sensitive skin & eczema so it being aluminum free was a plus. It’s not a gel-based deodorant which I loved since it does a good job of limiting underarm sweat and odor. I would say it lasts pretty long without needing to re-apply BUT it doesn’t really worsen or lessen the appearance of hyperpigmentation caused by most aluminum free deodorants which I developed using other brands. I’ve tried both the Mineral Spring and Coco Vanilla scents and I love them. This the only brand I use and genuinely like tbh, definitely worth a try!
