I tried this over FreshPet hoping it would be a good replacement. The product sticks to the liner and is very hard to get out of packaging. Ends up wasting a good bit on each roll. My dog likes it, the packaging just need to be improved.

The food was very mushy for a rolled food. The 1/2lb size cuts were way off. The end slices ended up being a sliver. I have my dogs on diets and this was definitely not good for their diet. Until I see improvements in this product I will continue to buy Freshpet.

Dog loves this. She’s always wanting our food and now she feels like she’s getting it when I give her this instead of just kibble. She loves the beef more than the chicken but both are good.

i bought this item at costco since it had the blue buffalo name and is suppose to be of higher quality but was very disappointed when i opened the wrap around the roll. when trying to break it apart into smaller pieces for my dogs to eat since the are older and have a few teeth missing i was surprised when its was EXTREMELY hard to break it apart into smaller crumbles like i do when i have bought them freshpet wet dog food rolls. these rolls were so hard to break apart it was like trying to break apart a THICK paste . it was thicker than clay that you would find for pottery. i give it 2 stars because my dogs did like it but the problem of trying to break it apart made me rate it like that. i will going back to the freshpet food since its easy to break apart and not will not purchase these rolls again. thank you.

The appearance, fresh smell and combinations of new ingredients

This is what my fussy 2 year old Alaskan Klee Kai will eat. As a puppy she was eating blue buffalo puppy kibble, and still does, but my wife was cooking chicken as her main meal. This tube dog food replaces the chicken and is better for her. She likes this better than the canned food offered.Thank you Blue Buffalo!

Sent my son to get fresh dogfood and he purchased the biggest roll of this chicken. My dog will not eat this and he is not picky, he eats actual poop but won’t eat this. In am frusrated money was spent on something that is a waste and my dog is hungry. Moral of the story - don’t send your kid without clear directions, don’t buy the big rolls and honestly, nothing from blue buffalo has been enjoyed by a dog or cat at my house.

My dog loved it. I would cut off a slice chop into small pieces and add it to her wilderness food.

We have two dogs that get picky at times, but this entices them to eat every time. We take a small amount and smoosh it into their food and they both gobble their entire meal. Neither of them have had any digestive issues from except for the random toot. We always have some in the fridge for when we need it.

My dog loves it. The texture is soft and it doesn't upset her tummy.

My 8yr old chiweenie is very picky about what food goes in her bowl, She had completely stopped eating kibble it would sit all day sometimes she nibbled sometimes not. I tried Farners dog but after the initial shipment it was priced ridiculous , I tried making food which she loved but its to time consuming Then I saw Blue Buffalo , I love that it is real food not brown rocks and she is excited for dinner time again Thanjs Blue Buffalo Sadue says Yum.

Bought this at a local Big box store because my adorable Brad was discontinued I immediately noticed the brown pasty awful smelling tube of meat my dog would not even get near it compared to the bread I usually buy which is very pleasant smelling and fresh looking this product was just awful

First things first: my dogs really enjoy this product. I, on the other hand, don't. I have been feeding my dogs one of the other brands of refrigerated food, so I had certain expectations, and my comments will be in comparison to that other product. On opening the product, I was disappointed by the fact that the packaging tore down the length of the tube, exposing about 3 inches of product to the air - and meaning I'm going to be wrapping this in fresh plastic wrap at every meal. The appearance isn't very appealing: it's mud brown, with a slight discoloration around the outer edges - like a smoke ring in barbecued foods. You can see the veges in it, but they have the gray discoloration of canned peas. The texture is gluey; even with a very sharp knife, it doesn't cut smoothly (and NOW the packaging sticks to the food.) If you cut the close into smaller pieces, they will stick together. The smell... is indescribable, and not in a good way. It smells bad, like cheap canned dog food - or maybe cat food? I trust that it's healthy, because it is Blue Buffalo, and as stated, my dogs eat it. But I cannot wait to be done with this product and go back to the other brand. I will try it again if and when the product gets an overhaul. (I do mix the food with BB dry food, which my dogs love - I like this brand, and was more than willing to pay the higher price for this -but nope. Nopity, nope nope nope.) I do wish I had bought the smallest size, but hey, it's Blue Buffalo - right? RIGHT? Now I just am anxious to be done with it.
